Given the set location, I think that, spatial sound awareness, surround sound, it is valuable.

Usually, film makers are lazy. It doesn't matter.

For me, if I were Quentin, for instance, in Pulp Fiction, do you remember, that scene, when Jules Winnfield / Samuel L Jackson, he shoots that guy who says What, then later onwards, in the movie, the guy Vincent Vega / John Travolta shoots by mistake, Alvin, or Marvin, that guy jumps out of the room and shoots at them?

The guy, Marvin, the gun shots, it would come from a different angle, so, the audience feels it, as though, it is very real, very visceral--hopefully disorientatingly!

See, it's placement, Quentin is lazy, as a big goof was that the bullet holes on the plaster wall were already made before Marvin shoots at them with a revolver, even Chandran Rutnam's friend Francis Ford Coppola was quite lazy, in The Godfather, the dirty cop that Michael Corleone/ Al Pacino shoots, he has a bullet hole in his forehead, before he is shot and there is a blood spray mist that erupts--

Placement, as in positioning. These guys, holding the boom sticks, they are also lazy. It's not cool. But that's the industry standard. They record unidirectionally, as those boom sticks only hear one thing or one input audio source. Even so, you can put
