Israel was not a country I ever heard of when I was growing up.

It was only Singapore for me.

But I fell in love with them and held the Jewish people in my heart as my own.

Because they are people from the Bible in my stories.

And because they are very brave.

I instinctively feel they share many of my values.

And I identify strongly with them.
