People say Oswald wasn’t even a very good shot.
He struggled to hit his targets, and eventually he was pushed out.
His equipment wasn’t great either,

It wasn’t really about a “magic bullet.”
It felt more like a dark, unbelievable moment in history.
Thomas Matthew Crooks, on the other hand,
must have spent a lot of time practicing at the firing range.
He used a more powerful modern rifle with careful aiming.
And yet, in a way that feels just as unbelievable,

That’s part of why several people in Trump’s crowd were hurt or killed.
Trump later honored them on stage, if I remember right.
They were good people, including a firefighter
who spent his life risking himself for others.
I believe he would have gladly stepped in to protect Trump too.
He understood what Donald Trump means to many of us:
hope for a calmer world,
peace in everyday life,
and an end to a lot of pain and chaos we’ve lived through.
To many people, what happened on July 13, 2024, felt like a miracle.
We all know a miracle when we see one.
