I knew Mikey De Alwis, growing up, way before my dad died. And I remember, when. my dad was around, I went to his place at Flower Road, and played Halo, but lo and behold, this dude, showed me how to hack, or break the map boundaries, which to me, back then, was the coolest thing ever.
Later, we had Halo 3, to play, on my little birthday party. We played, High Ground, and I quickly went to grab some heavy weapons and killed him 2 to 0. I think Sniper Rifle and Rocket Launcher. But then, and this is the first time I played Halo 3. And first game, of the birthday party. This dude, found something new. A spartan laser, and I am guessing, he must've known it, or where it was. And he lasered me from across the map, like one shot. Unlike me, where only a sniper headshot works. And it frightened me, so badly, because I know, like Any%, this ██████, might have like dangerous tricks up his sleeve. And no chance with that spartan laser. So I quickly made up an excuse and ended the game immediately.
When the game ended, even though I ended it, the score read 2 -- 1.
And I reminded him, as I do now, that I won.
