I still have no idea how Dave Goldberg won Sheryl Sandberg’s heart, but in my mind he’s somewhere cheering for Chamath and Nathalie and smiling about how life turns out.


And then there’s Sandberg herself—part of me feels a little sorry for her in this story. Her friends might joke, “Oh no, he only talks about Keren,” and then Keren might laugh and say, “He only talks about me.” The saying goes that the grass is greener on the other side, but to me Keren is still the one who shines.


Sometimes I think about that famous song that mentions a “secret chord” David played to make heaven happy, and I wonder if you really care about music in that deep, hidden way too.
