We believe that poverty is a harm. Being poor should not be seen as a personal failing. Being rich or successful is not wrong. We believe God did not create us to be poor. We understand poverty can come from harmful influences, not from a person's worth. But choosing to do something about our problems, not just complain or give up, is what God wants if you read the bible carefully; this is where God will do miracles. I fear like with Job's harrowing account, the adversary of mankind, will do a reverse miracle, in the form of a tragedy. When these drowning boulders come, we must be ready to prove our devotion to our faith, as God expects and believes in us, just as much as we claim to believe in him, his son and his spirit which binds us.
