I worked as COO of a $10mn seafood processing company called Alpex Marine in Sri Lanka for 6 months. I ate a lot of great, fresh seafood. Prawns, I'm okay, crabs, I'm okay, cuttlefish, I'm okay, etc.
My cousin Udhantha Sumathipala has allergic reactions to seafood, notably crab. I think 95% of the time I'm fine. It's just when I continuously eat cuttlefish, my mouth sort of develops sores or boils or swells up.
Thanks for your concern, I'm sure I won't go into anaphylactic shock. It could be nitrates and preservatives too, but I doubt it. Hehehe maybe the Torah and Talmud and Moses were right to avoid shellfish haha?
