Story

Didn't Jesus go fasting for 40 days and 40 nights or something (Mathew 4:2; Mark 1:13; Luke 4:2)? I'm sure we can all get through this temptation of the devil to not focus on isolating, social distancing and be cautious. Plus, we have food and drink -- and in my fridge, good, stolen wine!

Let's be positive and spend time with family, work on building our skills at home by learning, play video games, read, have fun, etc. When was the last time we hung out with family? The frontline medical teams are even sacrificing this luxury of hanging with family, and their lives, for our sakes.

Plus this is Singapore la, what's with the entitled dependency syndrome? Singapore wasn't built on a handout, we were built earning our bottom line. We should use this to learn patience, resilience and forbearance. Things could've been a lot worse -- like way worse.

In my case, I'm watching The Walking Dead to practise for when I have to step outside. My idiota brother Milan is playing Call of Duty Warzone. (Just kidding, I like to lighten up the mood).

I have a feeling in 40 day's time of this lockdown/ curfew, we're going be okay and get back to normal life and get on with business as usual (Acts 1:3).

I just hope all this Covid19 coronavirus stuff has nothing to do with Dr Thomas Cowan's "5G blanketed Wuhan leading to ionizing radiation mutating RNA of poisonous toxins from snakes/ bats as expelled virus cells..! ('Conspiracy theory')." I truly do doubt it.

Here's a transcript some time back re: SIA:

Mr Rubenstein:

Now, you flew over here on Singapore Airlines.

PM Lee:

Actually, not. I flew over on somebody else's airline.

Mr Rubenstein:

Because Singapore Airlines was not available, I guess, at that time.

PM Lee:

We do not fly directly to Washington, alas!

Mr Rubenstein:

Well, maybe you can change that.

PM Lee:

We hope so, the intermediate stops do not quite agree.

Mr Rubenstein:

So, Singapore Airlines has a very good reputation for service. So what is its secret, why is it generally rated the best airline in the world?

PM Lee:

Well, the Chairman is here, you can ask him. I think it is because he knows that the reputation is on the line. Furthermore, they have to earn their bottom line. And if they do not, well, there is no bail out for them. So, they work very hard and they have built up a very strong team and there is a very strong pride amongst the team in SIA and among Singaporeans in our national airline.
