Studying Matrix Symmetry and Fearing the First Real AI
September 12, 2021
The page moves from script craft to existential dread: noticing symmetry and duality in the Matrix script, wondering how much of that to use in my own writing, and then imagining AI as the last invention we make unless it is isolated and watched for centuries first.
Considering Matrix-Style Symmetry and Duality in My Script
4:45 p.m.
(b)
I like this kind of symmetry. It is dope. It is clever. I try to use duality, always, in what I write.
Or G-d does it for me. I don't know. Coincidences happen or something.
Who knows?
Not me!
I am wondering, if I should use it in my script, and if I do, to what degree.
It's an impressive script, very clever. But I want it to have a low number run time/ film duration.
Planning to Test Future AI for Eons in Simulation
5:30 p.m.
I am hungry again. I saw this. I was thinking, when we make AI, it should be in an isolated room.
Better yet, in a simulated environment. We have to see how it acts and treats us, for many centuries and eons by manipulating the passing of time.
It's scary, it's the last thing we will invent.

This is so cool!

Readability Scores, Fourth-Wall Breaks and Simpler Script Dialogue
8:00 p.m.
(c)
I am studying things, to make what I do good.Or better.Or as good as I can.
Break fourth wall:
How to Get the Readability Score in MS Word (Flesch–Kincaid formula) - YouTube:
I try to dumb down the language. Easy vernacular, free of any techy jargon, super easy to make sense of.
Maybe even, using those parables Jonathan Hirshon loves, instead of ever direct explaining.
The script has a score of 10 or 11, which is because of the descriptions of camera movements, camera shots, bla bla bla.
The actual dialogue, has to be very easy to follow.
Less is better, less is more, less is best.
I try to see what not to do.
What makes it good:
