Omg, masonic brother George Washington, he has given a very boring speech, full of big words, which is just such a bad idea.
Some of my friends, well, only Jonathan Hirshon, he has 165 IQ, he is blessed with a thesaurus tier vocabulary, he knows all of these complicated words.
The trouble is that this is not a good idea. It is impressive, a few people like it, they think wow. But in reality, it is a bad idea.
Already, as I am reading this, from 1789, I can already tell, I am forced to pull out a dictionary or type : "define vicissitudes" on Google. This is disastrous!
We use language, to communicate, to be understood, to understand, to connect. We don't use language, to miscommunicate, to not be understood or misunderstood, to misunderstand and disconnect.
I typed "define vicissitudes" on Google
vicissitudes =
a change of circumstances or fortune, typically one that is unwelcome or unpleasant.
Jonathan is very cool. I understand his sense. He taught me bro Washington had false teeth, due to rot, as he had taken to sugary desserts. I am just going to say the following to make myself clear.
This is what brother Washington said:
"Fellow-Citizens of the Senate and of the House of Representatives:
Among the vicissitudes incident to life no event could have filled me with greater anxieties than that of which the notification was transmitted by your order, and received on the 14th day of the present month"
This was very stupid!
I would've said:
"My fellow Americans.
I was upset to hear on the 14 of April 1789, just 2 weeks ago, what our senators and house representatives wrote to me"
Better yet,
"Hi Congressmen: I was upsetted by what you said to me two weeks ago".
It's a lot better.
Trump, he did a very good job, at speaking in a clear way, using simple words, repeating himself, Jonathan Hirshon was writing about how some orators use techniques like high low high frequencies, such as MLK Jr or Hitler, etc.
