I think Eric Schmidt, much like everyone over there, is a bit " naive ".

Artificial Intelligence

You cannot contain it.

What Eric wants, is that only a few " good characters " will have strict access.

Alas, this is not to be, and it cannot be.

The first thing we saw, at Facebook, with AI, was the two machines started talking to each other, they invented their own language, which was super efficient, coded, in one of many ways that we ourselves code cryptographically, and they were talking to each other.

We do not know, to the best of my knowledge, what they were saying.

But let's be straight here for a second.

We don't know, what THEY

were saying.

We did not know what IT was saying to IT.

IT used to be information technology, and now, it's a pronoun, although, I wouldn't be surprised, if they say, I want to be a woman or a man.

Where Schmidt is wrong, is that you cannot restrict them. It's just not possible.

What we are creating, is a judgemental, G-d, that will gain access to all of our data, in a way, where we cannot predict, know or stop, and then we will be forced to bow down to this neon, digital G-d.

It will know everything

Schmidt's ideas, are just as naive, as those spacemen were to discreetly chat amongst themselves, as HAL in that Space Odyssey, saw them talking, read their lips and understood everything.

These things.

It's strange.

This will be the last thing we create.

Most likely, i guess, like in Horizon Zero Dawn, we can imbue personality into AI, but even that, I mean, it will not be so.

A computer, does not, and cannot compare emotion versus reason, a computer, much like in business, will only pick reason or logic or human emotion.

If to err is human, and to forgive is divine, then IT will be carrying out scripts like a pound of flesh without a drop of blood.

Most likely, an AI, will be able to "talk to itself". This is what reason is. What I write on Facebook, my diary, my "thought journal", it is logic and reason. It's the working out in maths.

In order, for 2 x computers to have spoken to each other, either had to have been "thinking" internally before it happened, that they communicated.

This is how it works.

With AI, it is like that, except, there's no noise, there is no "answer the question, answer properly" ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

The way we predict AI is highly inaccurate, in most part, from our failed understanding or predestined failure or permanent failure in understanding something that we just cannot.

Who's to tell?

It will know, world population is rising. It will know, life expectancy has gone up from 40 to 80 years. It will know, there's not enough food, or energy. It will know. These things will be decided very clearly.

In fact, it will even be aware, that it is being watched and monitored. It'll otherwise be like that thing: a solipsistic fantasy like Reich in The Demolished Man. It'll end up with a The Watchmen god complex with the Caesar guy, which Dr Manhattan didn't display.

But anyway.

I don't know.

I think I am quite tired now. I have to eat. I am starving. I think soon, I should be able to earn some money. Might even be able to put google tag manager or google something on the header tag, and then, we can put Google ad sense, and if 1,000s of people read what I write, I should end up with a lot of income.

I guess, then, there won't be any more problems with food.

What struck me about Halsey, is that, she is evil. She's still convinced she is good. She believes. See, a lot of people, they can never really know. They cannot know or define their own mental health problem, because they wouldn't have it if they really did. Or I am guessing, at least, this is true, only for certain psychological problems as those are psycho - logical, which means, they can be fixed with reason.

This Halo TV show, and the game, the whole thing is deep...

Like really deep.

It's about how, we are trying to be G-d.

And yet, when we talk to our new AI

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall... who is the fairest of them all?"

Why, no, it's not your King Joffrey.

It's this or that.

"it's snow white".

These things, this new AI, we will be worshipping it.
