8:45 p.m.

See this is what matters.

For an allegory, it's like:

200 to 365 is a 45% devaluation

200 to 330 is 40% devaluation.

But people here, being that they are scorers of 78 on IQ tests on average, clearly, they now say Nandalal Weerasinghe, is the hero, and not to diminish his achievement in raising interest rates up to 15.50%, but Jesus f***ing Christ, what is the matter with people here?

It's really pissed everyone off because the truth does hurt.

Over the last 75 years:

I think first few years, it was like $1 was 3.77 or Rs 4.00

Then, I remember, as a child, I am now 29, it used to be Rs 100

Later as I began to understand how hellish this place is, it became Rs 200

Now, it's 365, then 333.

What? Tomorrow: 300? Then, 250?

What the hell?

Am I supposed to be happy with this?

Are you?

If these vineyard operators killed the owner's son to keep it for themselves; and they give you a settlement of what, a few bottles or barrels?

You might be happy with that, I'm not.

I'm a real killer of crime in the metaphorical sense. Biblically speaking. And all the evidence, any confession you want, it's all here. Everyone knows that.

This is crazy. Dhammika is doing the same thing: the plan used by people who represent that "Rajapaksa crowd" according to critics (in my opinion to describe what I observe as a pattern, using simple language), is hey, let's steal ("earn"), and keep like 80 instead of 90, and instead of giving out 10, let's very generously give out 20 to our people instead, for some votes.

It's like going in to a casino, leaving with a comped, free complimentary room. After losing like $100,000 bucks, or a million.

And, so is voting for Dhammika. Voting for Dhammika Perera is like betting at a casino and hoping to win, it's to think you can bet your mother, wife, sister, daughter and girlfriend, hoping to win it all back...

It won't work.

The point here, is that the chronology, the way people see time, is too short sighted, that numeral myopia is the bane of this society.

We can't afford to lose track of our financials. Myopia just means shortsighted. It's the medical term for it. I don't like using big words. You can vote Sajith for that, if you want to be impressed by his use of a thesaurus.

I think Anura, you can vote, if you don't have any plans for the future. His JVP website, also, the same story. He's got no real plans for his future, or any strategy, besides winning an election. Because he knows nobody will vote if he shares his stupid strategies for politics or economy: a controlled, likely closed economy.
