I think if someone tried to rob me on the street, they might expect that I would call the police, investigate and sue them in court. I don't think that's realistic. In that moment I would focus on staying safe and responding appropriately to the situation.

I would not rely solely on police, journalists, lawyers, judges, politicians, or family and friends to resolve an immediate incident; my priority would be my safety and taking calm, lawful steps afterward.
