I saw this in a transcript between Dennis Muilenburg and David Rubenstein at the Economic Club of Washington DC. It's interesting stuff, but also pretty sad. It must've been hell to go crashing down as one of the passengers. It doesn't matter what good you do, you're only remembered and punished for the mistakes, wrong and evil you do. In this case, it was poor leadership, negligence or leadership derailment.

MR. RUBENSTEIN: OK. All right. So, let’s talk about – there was unfortunately a tragic accident recently with a Southwest Airlines plane that was a Boeing – I think a 737. Well, the window popped out, I guess, or after the engine fell out. What happened there? And what’s the status of it? And are these planes really safe?

MR. MUILENBURG: Yeah. Yeah. Well, you know, first of all, safety is our number-one priority. And I want to reaffirm and state again that there is no safer way to move than to fly, right? Flying in airplanes is an extremely safe business. And it’s one where safety is just mandated. It is our core principle.

Now, you know, we certainly sympathize and our deepest condolences to the families involved in the Southwest incident. And we’re strong partners with the entire Southwest family. And we’re supporting the investigation right now. It’s a National Transportation Safety Board investigation. So, we have a process that will follow through that. But without any question, the 737 is an extraordinarily safe airplane.

I saw a footnote about a BBJ:

50/50 partnership between Boeing Commercial Airplanes and GE Aviation. The BBJ designation denotes the

business jets based upon the 737 series airliners. These aircraft usually seat between 25 and 50 passengers within a luxurious configuration. This may include a master bedroom, a washroom with showers, a conference/dining area, and a living area.

This was I think in May 2018. In October 2018, there was a 737 crash, and again, another 737 crashed in March 2019. In October 2019, he was testifying to Senate. Leaders need to be very careful, you can't let pride cloud your judgement, one minute you're flying high, the next, you're crashing and burning in a faulty Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

I think, if my memory serves me right, certain parts of his interview, for instance, where he joked he'd say anything to get laid were cut, and masterfully edited, because people are now anyway pissed off, and will opportunistically turn into an angry mob as they hate him and want to justify their hateful emotions towards our churchboy friend. I dunno, maybe I heard someone else make that joke.

Omg, I love the number 7, just like how Colonel Sanders (a fellow Freemason, so, Bro Sanders) at KFC, loved the number 7 and did every G-d f***ing damned thing 7 times (or so I heard, or misheard, they toss the chicken 7 times to dry, rub 7 times, bread 7 times, whatever)! I can't just off my brain. I have to keep tabs on so many different things. There's so much burnout. I have to remember so much stuff. Technology augments me and helps, but I must still show personal attention and care to things and minute details. I don't care, I love it.

I can't believe they don't lob a slice of cheese in the McDonald's McSpicy burger. It's crazy. I need to ask for it specifically. I love the juicy chicken thigh meat or chicken breast meat*. It's so good. I eat and eat all day, I don't do any work, but I'm so skinny. I need my weight up to 55kg and then up to a maximum of 65kg or 70 at the upper end.

It's my dad and sister Lehara's Birthday today. It's a great day. We learned Iran has declared war on the US. I'm very happy.

The US has helped make many countries prosperous. They helped China escape poverty, but now, China is a problem and aid and trade has been clamped down hard. It's the way it is. I think our main trading partner in terms of US imports and SL exports is America.

I sell tech made in America. I don't sell anything from Russia or China. We see China with increasing suspicion. I was told many products won't be sold to China for fear of reverse engineering. Same with Russi. Obviously, we're legally prohibited from selling many US technologies to Iran.

I think that the 3: Iran, Russia and China have a lot of countries supporting them. Islam is on their side too. It's going to be a very tough war.

I called Ravi at the legal department, he confirmed. I'm upset they're taking time to send me back a counter signed NDA.

Ruchira Yasaratne is my friend. He's in charge of the project, the CTO Pradeep De Almeida delegated it to him. I sense Dr Hans Wijayasuriya is partial towards me. The HR woman De Zoysa is untoward towards me because I didn't like her daughter Cheyenne in school, my intel is fuzzy, I can't confirm this.

I'm friendly and cut a deal with Srinath Wijayakumara. He's gently reminded Ruchira. A lot of people are working in my favour. Thilanga uncle and Gotabaya Rajapaksa's influence and support and everything is doing wonders for my perception--people want to shake my hand.

I'll need to get Thilanga uncle to meet Ruchira and make a deal. I predict that Dialog will refuse to pay $10,000 for our Proof of Value test. In such a case, as it's a penetration test, we'll try get Thilanga uncle to pay $10,000 and try get the job done. He can use the political mileage.

Alvin Chua, this makes sense because BitCoin doesn't have a central bank or government supporting it and Facebook's currency is controlled by a private company. The digital Yuan probably will be useful and may be seen as more credible than the alternatives as you point out. However, people outside China may be scared because Trump and the US often claim China artificially manipulates their currency value to make their exports more attractive. If the reason money has any value is because of people's trust in the issuers or legitimacy of money, then they'd choose Bitcoin if they don't want a central bank supporting it, Facebook's new Libra if they trust Facebook a private company or China's Digital Yuan if they believe in China. I think Singapore should issue a cryptocurrency instead because everyone trusts Singapore.

I have a lot of Muslim friends, partners, customers and employees -- I don't hate Islam, and I don't think Islam hates the US, although we know some of them do.

I don't think violence is the only answer, as Buddha taught, it's best to quench hatred with love and compassion. But if you look at WW2 and Hitler, it's simply not possible. Those people are evil. Do you seriously think the Japs would show you any mercy if they caught you while occupying Singapore? LKY had to hide. That's what evil looks like. You must hide to survive, but you can't afford to cover when the evil bully finds you.

Every week, there's rocket attacks against Israel. These terror cells are sponsored by Iran. Iran has already unanimously agreed in their parliament, representing their people democratically, that the US army are terrorists.

Don't you think this fear of Iran specifically is reasonable based on their open threats and confirmed, cowardly aggression and hostility to the US and Israel?

Of course, you're lucky. But Israel isn't, and the enemy is at their gates. Don't you think after the Holocaust, the Jews deserve sympathy and our support to survive? In the beginning, the US attacked those countries for strategic interests such as to earn money by pushing capitalism and installing friendly dictators, but then it became about us/ US/ free 1st world versus them/ Russia/ 3rd world. I accept this, but this is not the case any longer. If you observe closely, US policies to import helped a lot of countries grow and escape poverty. It's not a might is right or zero sum game any longer. Warren Buffet's best friend Charlie Munger claims the US had intentional lopsided trade policies up until recently to buy Chinese products to help millions escape poverty.

Interestingly, Boeing's former CEO Dennis Muilenburg sold 737s and 777s planes to Iran and has only under and subject to a US Government Licensing agreed to even offer spare parts to them. It's not easy for Iran. Their bank accounts are under observation and can be frozen just like in the past. I worry this can cause them to gain sympathy as Cuba gained sympathy due to the embargo.
