SIERRA Follow-Ups and Cold Anger Made Thursday Run Hot
மார்ச் 26, 2020
SIERRA follow-ups, blocked momentum, cold anger, and shutdown stress gave the day a hot edge, with me trying to keep deals alive while resenting how slow and resistant everyone else felt.
Calling for Open Debate Followed by a Complete Shutdown
Yes, talk out loud, out in the open, hear, listen, think, think again, think through, think critically, think creatively, debate, but debate reasonably. Don't debate about this for too long, this isn't up for debate -- act, suspend, shut everything down, stop everything, keep everyone home, keep everyone off the streets, just do it. Look at how squalid and foolish other countries are? Let them screw up, ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Let's cross our fingers, run essential services and wait it out until this thing dies.
Cold, SIERRA Networking and Planning Middle East Expansion
Thu 26 Mar
1:15 p.m.
I had toast with extra butter and peanut butter for breakfast with coffee. I have the cold. I have to write an email to SIERRA.
2:00 p.m.
I had a shower. I'll write an email to Ron.
2:15 p.m.
My phone charger and cable don't seem to work. I've switched to wireless charging. I won't be able to access my mobile phone easily.
4:45 p.m.
My mum made nasi lemak or a nice fried rice for lunch with satay, eggs and a papadom. I'm getting a bit tired. I'm sad business is slowed to a halt because of Covid19 coronavirus.
6:30 p.m.
I was talking to Mark Webber. He's left the subsidiary Vericlave and instead of joining another subsidiary App Guard, he's joined the technology parent Blue Ridge Networks.
He's a very cool guy. I asked him to put in the good word with Bob Bigman. I also asked him to see if he can introduce me to the Chief Revenue Officer at SIERRA.
I just did reconnaissance on Jim's (CRO) LinkedIn. He's the COO. I hope Mark can help me connect with him. It'll make my job and life a lot easier.

These seem like very good, useful ideas. I'm hoping to do some business with United Arab Emirates in Dubai and Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. I think we can set up offices over here in the Middle East region and also in Israel in Jerusalem.
We did an indirect SIERRA partner deal with Etisalat for 590 applications in United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Telecom in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh. It looks like we can get along.

Supporting Survival Measures and Remembering “Love of My Life”
This is a good call Madam. It's not about popularity or moral choice, it's about survival now.
It's all about how we are supposed to work our way through this carefully so we don't destroy each other and we put ourselves in a position to pick up the pieces and work together 'when this is blown over' (Chris Voss, 2020).
Omg I just remembered, Freddie Mercury singing "Love of My Life":
Obrigado
"You will remember
When this is blown over
Everything's all by the way"
Comparing Rifles, Submachine Guns and Handguns for Survival
You forgot the M16 (or prone to jamming SCAR) and spare 5.56mm ammo clips (I prefer them to the AK47 because of the accuracy, subsequent grouping and range).
If the next gen carbine comes out, the M5, with the new 6.5mm Grendel rounds, especially, with computer assisted targeting -- I'd pick that.
Many like the AK47 because it's durable and packs added stopping power with 7.62mm rounds and extra magazines. This is perhaps the most "bang" for your buck as it's tried and tested.
Some like bullpups such as the Tavor, but I worry because of the bad grouping during sustained hip fire. I'd even settle for a sub machine gun such as a Uzi or H&K's MP5 or the newer MP7 if they hopefully get better bullets.
Or at least carry some kind of handgun which you can conceal -- Ruger does a good job at this. I'd go for the Ruger LCR (revolver) 9mm because I'll prefer to hide my gun or Ruger LC9S.
I dunno, maybe I'll just get a Glock 17 or another variant such as Glock 18 automatic or 19 or 19x or 35 at 9mm.
