A Strange Dream, Groceries, and Writing Practice

12:45 p.m.

Had a strange, vivid dream. I saw I was in a strange, foreign country, most likely Australia, it was beautiful, it was a developed, well kept country with wonderful picturesque surroundings. It was a relatively urban area.

I was in a vehicle, likely a jeep. White, yellow gold hue tan leather and spacious. I was originally in the back, I somehow moved to the front when talking to Rohan and then back again. Or something like this.

I remember there were a few people in the car, then there were two: It was Rohan Alahendra and Sandya Alahendra. They keep quiet. I think Bhakthi was there too, in the beginning, I think I saw my mum too.

Rohan suddenly says that I should stop writing. He claims that unlike in all the religions, everyone hated Buddha, he claims Buddha insulted everyone. Rohan commented it was good, clever writing, but I should stop because people hated Buddha -- they said things to explain which I cannot recall, maybe that the people thought Buddha was crazy.

We were driving past a fictional Gregory's Road in Sri Lanka, the dream seemed to flow, the fact I moved from backseat to front to back, 2 main people in the car to 3 or 4, talking to my mum separately, the magic geography, it was compelling, surreal and transitioned well in sequence, segued perfectly, it all fit.

I saw a graveyard which looked very funny. So, the graveyard was a very tiny plot of land, it had small wall, each tiny graveyard with about 6 or 8 tombstones, was carefully cordoned off by a short wall. There were altogether about 20 to 50 of the small graveyards. I looked carefully, each wall design was unique. It was grey, silver or black stones. It looked perfectly clean.

It was on the side of the road opposite Colombo International School, where Uwin's best man Revatha JB lived, I did not look at the right side window of the vehicle. I could not tell I was dreaming at all. We suddenly spoke about Lal. Or I made a comment.

I cannot remember what I said. I might have said we do not have a plot of graveyard. They told me: "why not? Lal had a graveyard plot in Sri Dala Maligawa" or temple of the sacred tooth in Kandy, Sri Lanka. We talked. They claimed he had a big graveyard.

I woke up. I feel tired. But I wanted to log it, before staying in my bed to recover or gain more energy or enough energy to get up from bed. I was this way during school days, I just could not get out of bed, I am too exhausted.

When I woke, I thought that I should stop writing for a while. It is like the car, with manual clutch and gear shift. You have to slow the car a bit before hitting the clutch, balancing the clutch and shifting a gear down. I prefer automatic transmission.

4:00 p.m.

I took a body wash in scalding hot water. I am starving. I should go get some lunch. I bet it is terrible SL food. I will buy a loaf of sliced bread to make sandwiches in the early morning. I predict I wake up in the night and sleep in the morning.

I can eat then. I must read how to keep bread properly for a few days.

I also followed Eric Schmidt. He is a big guy. I am a small guy. Maybe later, I will see him in real life if we can come up with a proposal to improve SL. Small world when you head a monopoly in search. We can use his help to try and end the heavy corruption in SL.

There is a mosquito, it is my cue to go find lunch

I was thinking of UK Sharma uncle and Sandesh and Shanika and Shalima aunty.

I love them a lot, Sharma uncle was my dad's best friend and I saw them together the most.

I was thinking of this book The Great Gatsby, what I write is going to also be iconic, but better.

In Anne Frank's diary, she refers to an ice cream parlour, it went out of business, I remember R L Stine advise, you gotta be careful to only select timeless stuff, so no Sony Walkman, as that went away

Lishan Perera, Chandani Perera's son, he was an author, he wrote, "The Killer", he mentioned a Xbox in it. I still have my copy of his book. I would write video game console or I dunno, whatever the f***.

I like my own writing style, it is the way I think and see the world, it is exciting, every thing, it is just so larger than life, it pushes the edge, flies close to the sun, it is so new, and bold and raw and just so direct and I love the foul language, i love the vulgarity, ██████████████████████ (which btw I have seriously dumbed down and reduced , ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████).

I love what I write. It is beautiful.

I love the writing style.

I love the honesty.

I love the creativity, the wit and the mixture, the themes, the duality of it all, always so brilliant.

But I want it to end, I want there to be 200 or 300 page book, so, it has to finally end, I want it to be about understanding life, growth and bettering.

It is hard. I think I can use symbols. The Little Prince is also my favourite book now. I like Northern Lights, but not so much, I do not care. I do not like Harry Potter, I do not like Goosebumps all that much.

I want what I write to have all the movie scenes from my favourite films like Godfather or Scarface or whatever, it will add magic to it.

I am getting sleepy. I should take 30 mg of Mirtazapine. I feel slightly increasingly depressed. But no identified negative thoughts or bad label. Maybe it could be bad, but I do not know, I have a gut feeling that I should be on 45 mg until better off, but also that I am on 30 mg and I feel fine.

I saw the Blue Jasmine director Woody Allen suffer this attack which was quite saddening, dunno if true, but it looks like it is quite tragic, it damages the reputation and makes it look bad
