Returned after a writing ban, logged Covid death and vaccination details, reflected on Sri Lanka politics and Afghanistan, then eyed Port City links

1. Explanation.

I wasn't able to write for a month due to a ban.

I had written about disliking █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

I deleted certain views quickly.

I even unsuccessfully appealed to Facebook's Oversight Board, which was shocking.

But then again, many of the 330m Americans do not seem to agree on many scientific facts or even wish to take vaccines, and so, I understand the rationale.

I, however, refuse to do any act without writing it down as a policy now, so, I can't act against██████████████████████

We may have to pursue regulations on big tech locally.

I am working on videos. I am also reading a lot of books by George Shultz and learning from Master Class lectures.

So, I am a bit too busy to write.

There were videos made, transcribed and uploaded to YouTube, but then, I thought, they could be improved on.

2. Covid Update.

Dharmasiri Seeya (grandpa) who was my grandma Milina's brother has passed away.

He's refused to take the Covid-19 vaccine, then, he's caught C19 and died -- he's 1 of 6,700 official fatalities, out of the over 300,000 formally diagnosed cases.

Cousin Koshitha ██████████████████████████████████deathbed regarding a business dispute.

Cousin Chathula has been self isolating or self quarantining as well. He's not caught C19, though, unclear. I dunno if he got the vaccine.

I got the AstraZeneca (Oxford) vaccine 1st jab with help from uncle Thilanga.

I attended cousin Wagisha's husband Iruka's grandma's funeral -- we were talking about C19.

Cousins Chadu and Chathula, whose father, my uncle Jagath is leading the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress ("ACBC"), revealed that a number of elderly Buddhist monks died when they were given the C19 jab.

They expressed reluctance to take the vaccine. These fears appear to have been echoed by Dharmasiri.

Dharmasiri was friendly towards myself. He's shown me his big fish pets when I was a very young boy.

He's cried, wailing, on the floor, in the Asiri Central Hospital when my grandma died -- sincere man.

He's been in charge of some aspect of the betting or sports bookmaking business.

Apparently, day time racing business section. Cousins Chadu and Chathula were explaining it, I didn't get it.

They appear to be friendly with Dharmasiri.

Whereas, the Thilanga faction, is very angry, they appear to have separated from Jagath.

Though, I doubt it, it seems dishonestly staged. This is because there's a lot of ongoing relations, there's no real rivalry and coordination is too close.

Some individuals like █████████████████████ appear friendly with both sides, though they passive aggressively deride cousins Chadu and Chathula as "incompetent", and also appear friendly with "apparent rivals" like Upali Dharmadasa.

3. Country: Sri Lanka

Gotabaya is losing popularity. He has released Duminda Silva, who was found guilty of murder of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra.

Duminda is reported to be ███████████████████████████████████████████Sohli Captain who owns John Keells Holdings, ██████████████dad Lal Silva as the MD/ CEO for his CIC.

In the past, the Zoroastrian Parsis, who were agents for the British during colonial times, were charged with ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Most likely, Gotabaya wants to know, he ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████Raynor's Hiru (Asia Broadcasting Corporation) for propaganda.

There seems to be a lack of development or progress, or accountability -- due to Covid.

It is relatively peaceful.

There's an increased risk of█████████ in Sri Lanka.

4. Afghanistan

I am not aware of or sure about this situation. I am sorry to see Taliban takeover the place.

I think we should█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

We should also be more flexible in terms of ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

I was disappointed that the many Afghans who ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

It's good to retreat and withdraw US troops from the region. I am happy Hashani Hettiarachchi won't be ordered to go into a dangerous warzone.

5. Master Class: Dan Brown.

I am watching this Master Class by Dan Brown, the Davinci Code author.

I love this learning Master Class series.

The videos are short, and to the point, and even entertaining to watch.

I have his books, which I will learn from, as I spend many hours, to master my writing skills.

I must've spent many 1,000s of hours already writing on my Captain's Log.

It's been an exercise in self improvement as well, as I act in policing my own thoughts.

Facebook is a safe environment, the community standards are helpful guidelines, and I will do well, to positively improve based on those.

I shouldn't have derided the Iranians. It was wrong. I should try to help out only.

I have to be careful not to write too many things, those are America, or Israel's problems, not mine.

I think I must've spent 1,000 hours writing. I write fairly quickly now.

It's said, that you become a master at 100,000 hours of practise in any field.

Maybe, in chess, the answer is no, but with the right training, right path, right teachers, yeah.

Let's see. I wrote for about 1,000 hours. I write like 3 to 5 hours day, and so, if there were 34 weeks, plus last year (2020), or to compensate* for last year, and multiplied by 7 days (238 days), multiply by 3 hours, that's 714 hours, or 6 hours is 1,428 hours.

If it's 2 years, that's 1,428 x 2 = 2,856 hours.

I guess, it's 10,000 hours to be a master at something. I think I could get there.

I must've written, for around, 4 or 5 years.

I must've written 8 hours a day, slept for 10 hours, and then written for much of the other 6 hours.

6. Master Class: Hans Zimmer.

I enjoyed the MasterClass by Hans Zimmer on Film Scoring, he is a genius, a very cool, good, and kind genius who loves people.

I learned a great deal from him.

I got Cubase Elements 11, and I got Cubase Pro 17, and I got a midi controller (musical instrument digital interface), which is sort of a piano keyboard, that I will have fun using to make some cool tunes.

I want to get into film making. It's pretty cool. I love video, I love art, it's the right direction.

I am not a musical genius. Brother (Masonic) Mozart, he was a musical genius.

Brother Sohli Captain is a business genius, I guess. I am not a genius, I am an unbelievably stupid person. I just like to write -- I have a lot of fun.

I love the theme in The Hateful Eight by Quentin Tarantino. It was made by the guy who did the theme for The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. It's amazing. I love movies like that girl who kicks her feet up in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

I found that I could mimic, on my first try, almost like I'm a natural, the chords or melody for The Hateful Eight theme on my MIDI controller.

I guess, it is copyright protected, so I can't steal it, but I can draw inspiration, make my own stuff.

7. Cubase Elements 11 (Music Synthesizer).

This is a screengrab of a tool within Cubase Elements 11, I am having a good time. This is a very impressive solution by a German company called Steinberg.

In Singapore, a long time ago, my Thathi (dad) was trying to get a piano for me.

I will probably learn a musical instrument. I love music. I will have to learn one that I am good at or enjoy.

I think that synthesizers, this MIDI controller, this Steinberg Cubase Pro or Elements, it is the right instrument for me.

8. Health.

I have to get lunch. There was no breakfast. I had a mango for breakfast. I am quite depressed. I have taken 45 mg of Mirtazapine instead of 60 mg.

I feel exhausted. I went to Softlogic's Dell Repair Shop yesterday with my mum Shanika. They had fewer staff, one of them who is in their air conditioning business has died due to Covid-19.

They (Softlogic) took forever to serve me, or the other customers waiting, but were courteous. The staff had been given the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

I went to purchase a new laptop battery. It's also made in China now. It used to be the cells were from Korea, it was assembled in China, now whole thing's China.

In the jeep, my mum was driving, it was August 20th, my dad's 16th death anniversary.

There's a railway track next to Softlogic's Dell Repair Shop, I joked to her about it.

UK Sharma has asked my dad, "are you safe?" seconds before a train wrecked his Mitsubishi Montero. She was telling me, he has said he didn't see or hear it.

They haven't kept in touch with us, never helped us with anything, it's quite sad.

My mum's visited Sharma, they refused or claimed they can't help out in anyway.

They are Protestant Christians, they believe that Jesus Christ has died for their sins, so, they are guilt free. It's really quite sickening, but whatever.

It's not fair to expect any assistance. Plus, my mum was very weak, and is weak, she hasn't got a strong character. She refused to fight for her family or for her business, so she lost it to Lal uncle.

She's nothing like me, I'm a "cold blooded killer".

I guess, next steps for me, are to make these videos, coordinate and work on moving forward.
