I always demand my hair be cut with scissors. But also thinning shears, because I insist on my hair being less thick.
I have a huge problem with Sri Lanka's hot, humid temperatures. It's a sweltering 30 degrees Celsius and the unbearable 80 to 90% relative humidity makes it worse: it feels like 35 C sometimes.
So I need my hair to be less dense. As it helps me cope up. I also avoid hair issues like dandruff completely, when my hair is short.
When my hair is thick it feels icky, sticky and kind of waxy or gross and the hair scalp sebum is agitated or collects
The dandruff is usually a form of fungus, which thrives in the absence of sunlight and when water can survive in the hair
Thilanga bought me a hairdryer which I use, so I feel some sympathy for him, and think it's okay to let him ██████████████████████████
When my hair is short, it's easier for me to wash it properly, and also to dry, and it feels easier for me to breathe almost in the air
I'm very big on hygiene. So I actually want to buy a pair of scissors and shears, to give my barber, along with a brush. As I don't want the same scissors or shaving machine, used on other people, used on me. They don't always keep those sanitized, they can cause problems.
I also prefer the scruffy look.
I avoid using the hair trimmer machine. I just don't like it.
I also, like to leave the hair on the back of my head, near the neck, there.
I don't usually cut it, in month 2 to 5, so I prefer to keep it there.
I think George Clooney has a flowbee. I might get one.
At around 4 to 5 months:
My hair starts to look scruffy like this
It looks like Larry Page
I style it like him
I think my hair looks a lot like Larry Page's hair, in its natural form

I have as a child, because my dad Palith likes Trump so much, and would always brush his own hair, and even insist on brushing my hair :
He would apply hair spray to make it stick
But I don't do that
I feel Trump's hair takes too much work
And it's unrealistic, to put in the effort, that such a hairstyle would demand in order to successfully, consistently maintain that look
Worse, those hair products, and especially hair spray, have phthalates or pfas or whatever else, apparently
I like Lady Gaga's Hair song, because that's so true, and I love my hair
