I feel even from his grave, even after he was lowered into his grave.
Quite some time ago.
He has sort of made me.
Who I am.
He's like that fat chef in Ratatouille.
Who is going around saying, anyone can cook.
Except he's like anyone can lead.
Even if he wasn't even here, or isn't in this world.
The guy did provide his teachings in writing to everyone.
And some of us actually read, and chose to learn.
You don't always need a physical, real life teacher.
If I am able to develop SL, it's because he showed us all how.

It's one thing to go around saying his legacy is Singapore.
But really, it's not.
His legacy is Singapore's people.
And I got very lucky, I got to see the guy, and I got to be one of the Singaporean people.
I got to learn and figure out how it works there.
So I can apply it here.

He did more for SL than any of SL's leaders or people :
