I don't expect the same level of warm recognition towards Obama as for the residents of Flint

Because I don't see them as the kind to secure American interests

They're people who have lost, are losing, or may lose those interests

There are many ways to lose, to concede, or to rationalize a setback

I don't want that

We want someone who can win
