It's good I guess, but also kind of a mistake. They haven't got their word.

It won't last 365 days.

A fickle, egg-shell peace deal with US; which relies on Trump scolding Bibi on hitting back on Hezbollah in Lebanon, as a peace condition for Iran with Israel, won't pan out for very long, it's a flash, a spark to fire..

The use of the word "permanent" to describe a peace deal makes no sense. The NY Times will respect you for it now -- will criticize you worse the next month when it fails -- you're better off being hated for winning.

Iran's got 2 forms of policy. They'll either try killing young girls who show their hair in public. Or they'll try murdering Jews in Israel. Or all over the globe. That's it.

They're just scared of Trump, so they want to bide their time, scurry away, to hide out in the ditches, until they can come out 2 years later.

In a way, it's good, I guess, but the whole thing reeks of "loser". It will never hold up. They'll lie.

The Pakistani side, just told them, "Wait it out till Trump goes, they'll not have a strong American leader again, wait till Mamdani's in, so we can attack Israel". Or something along those lines.

You can negotiate with terrorists, Chris Voss as FBI lead hostage negotiator has done it all his life, but you can't negotiate in bad faith with liars, deranged lunatics, cowards, people who want blood or an eye for eye, and believe they're on a sacred mission by their 10% Shia variant of Ali's Talib Allah.

IRGC can lose all the oil reserves, or their territory of Iran, where the oil refinery + well, can go to Democratic State or Republic of Iran, and then they'll be cast out of the UN, and they'll have major forever civil war problems.

Bush's dad HW did a similar deal with Saddam, how'd it turn out, how long did it last? People like Sarkozy who tried to humanize and cosy up to Gaddafi paid in jail many years after the fact.

US is pissed by inflation, but there's global inflation, US incomes and value and earnings are increasing--on the up 'n up.

We are following Trump's lead on it, but are doing so in the spirit of Christian tolerance, compassion and forgiveness.

A short term deal is <12 months, medium term is 1 to 2 years, if not 5, a long term or permanent deal's over 10+ years. You can't have peace without total victory, in this situation, there are too many variables, such as Israel vs Lebanon or Jordan or proxy fights or terrorist pogrom/incursions.

They're habitually dressing Hamas fighters up in civilian clothing, they used to pull out strapped explosives, now they pull off they're military fatigues to show their Al Jazeera with their fake media badges, school boy and "civilian or peaceful aid worker uniforms". There'd be no Hamas without Iran. Saudis don't sponsor them.

A cornered snake, when it's aware it will die clenched in an eagle's claw, will pretend to show some shallow honor, will act sheepishly, but won't change its nature, the enlarged venom gland's their heart, the hatred that's deep inside will be smile that cut us or our friends and allies -- should we buy their "peace deal".

Iran must never be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, sponsor terrorist activity or murder civilians.
