I think previously, under Sirisena, or someone else, this Duminda Silva, who "apparently", had shot Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra, he also got the "death sentence" courtesy of Sri Lanka's Supreme Court.
The fact is, his brother soon got this Hiru TV, to do well, they apparently, according to Bharatha Lakshman in a video aired, with Susil Premajayantha as his witness, he claimed that "Gota and Duminda Silva" were "dealing heroin ("kudu").
This was painful to see, but some people, in Kolonnawa, who worked for my friend Hemachandra Wegapitiya, told me it was true.
I dunno, I spoke to Lasitha Sooriyabandara, who used to be COO at Duminda, their dad Lal, and his brother Vincent, and his bro Raynor Silva's ABC news, or Asia Broadcasting Channel.
He told me it's not true, obviously. And there's a defense case to this too. Because people can lie or come up with BS.
A lot of people, then abuse parliamentary privilege, to accuse them in there, or else they make those claims go viral.
That caused a lot of pressure, where Duminda's lawyer, like aunty Chamari's daughter Nishara Jayaratne, is called, "poisoning the well", which makes the jury, or judge, or 3 judge bench, more "partial" to social pressure.
Kind of like, how when Jesus was being judged by Pontius Pilate, the "Angry Mob" was demanding his execution, while freeing Barbarus.
This was seen, under Common Law, as making the ruling unfair.
I fear, Hitler, wasn't "all of Nazi Germany". I fear there were people behind Hitler, that A: bought his failing book, to hand out, there were hateful Germans, who pushed an entire anti Jewish race curriculum to poison the minds, the lot of fomenting of their hearts, and loathing in their spirit...
That is the way he pronged to power.
I think the two named figures, today, for execution, were also, not as big, or as responsible, for the attacks, as the true "masterminds" who appear to have also been found guilty, with command authority
Namely Sirisena, who first claimed he had no $100,000 to pay a "fine"
It seems to some, that it's like another case of a drug mule being executed, a small sprat, while the drug lord, is being deified as a welcome, heralded guest
It seems unjust, to some of the people observing it
