There is no relationship between the individual and AngryPages, and there has not been one for months.
Despite this, the individual contacted ten California news outlets, shared confidential information, and continued to assert a connection. More than eighty emails were received in a repeated cycle of approach, written promise to stop, withdrawal, apology, and renewed contact. The individual never opened an account in his own name; an account appeared only briefly under the name of his wife, "Aisha" and "Trash™" which we deleted 2 months ago. He claimed to be a “young, independent author from Matale, Sri Lanka” to 10 publishers in California while being a retired man in his sixties or seventies who previously described oil-company supervisory work, and during a call previously with us in early May he gave conflicting statements about a laptop (had one, had none, had many). The conduct began in May 2026 or earlier. It is unknown how he obtained my email address.
The full correspondence might be published. The matter has been reported to the Ministry of Defence, the Inspector General of Police, the Inland Revenue Department and others, and has also been communicated in writing to intelligence services. An electronic record will remain available. Tax obligations connected to Kuwait National Bank accounts and possible U.S. visa consequences have been noted. These steps were taken solely to prevent any false impression that AngryPages was affiliated with, partnered with, or acting on behalf of the individual. Any statement suggesting otherwise is inaccurate. Further contact is unwelcome.
