"Funeral Planning"

I was thinking, I do not want to see anyone dead. Any death is tragic.

I mean, if you think about it, that guy, Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arabia's Lasantha, he wrote that even Osama bin Laden had good in him, before giving into his passions of extremism.

I was moved.

I guess, with that perspective, even the worst people, Adolf Hitler, it was probably preventable. All of the 6m, 1m kids, they never had to die, if that was prevented.

I am not always agreeable with brother Stephen LaBrooy, he and I disagree a lot. Steve hates the US for instance. He shared this book, Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower (2000) by William Blum.

It contained a long list of mistakes perpetrated by the US.

I was shocked, a lot of it was not true, but some of it was insightful, it helped me understand, enlighten me.

Osama also loved that book.

I am under tremendous stress.

I feel writing things out, it helps me.

A lot of things could have been prevented, with the benefit of hindsight, or knowing how past mistakes or decisions resulted in the events that followed.

The whole LTTE thing was easily preventable. It was a stupid fight. I love Tamils. They are my friends and teammates, Eva and Jude are our CIO and CTO.
