Star Trek, Lower Decks, is the parental rating, I am going for, it's ideal though.

Most likely, 7+ is too low, TV Y is good enough
There is content re: the civil war, which is possible to make for children, but even so, it's slow violence, it is going to be frightening.
Best to try to make it PG 13, or for General Audience, by hiding things, removing, censoring.
