I normally, sit on my ass, watch a movie, all in one go, within a 2 hours I watch it, over, pow.

But now, I have been watching One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest for the whole day. In fact, I'm still HERE, which is like 70% in only.

It's because I am studying it. Analysing it. Thinking about it very long and hard. I am learning from it and the others, which is putting a big tax on my well-being, but it's worth it.

I watched Nomadland very quickly in 1 go, it was less than 2 hours maybe. I was like a zombie, awake, but dead inside, looking, I replayed certain scenes. It was horrifically bad. Unenjoyable. Horrible.

I'm making mental notes. It's not like with you going to school for economics for GCSE O Levels, you have to write stuff down, read, then memorize, no, with this stuff, you gotta watch, rewatch, then try to make sense of it, and improve your own work.

You don't need to go to film school. You do this. You just watch good movies. Copy. Make sense, copy.
