I'm getting my dinner and sleeping. I have to wait patiently till February for a new laptop from Dell, because my cousin Seshitha Gunadasa has to buy it in Sydney Australia, and then transport it and gift it to me.
It's a bit too long. I might as well get a Rs 360,000 Macbook Air M1 2020 model. And then with the Rs 550,000 - Rs 360k = Rs 190,000. I could likely pay to promote my book on Facebook. Even if I get it from Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC on a 12 month loan, it's a lower interest rate, though Bank of Ceylon is 2% or something. Hmm... and we can use the money to promote it for sales or something.
The Macbook Air is remarkably easy to transport. It's beautiful. Premium. Apple. Apple is better than Dell. Better lithography. 5nm instead of 10nm. The new Dell Inspiron can be useful, it's new. It's going to be replaced by next month. I think 13th generation, 14th generation Intel. It doesn't seem like such a good deal.
If I save Rs 190,000. That's $520 bucks. I could use it to pay $16 of advertising per day on Facebook for my book. Or else, you know, maybe pay Jonathan Hirshon his public relations fees. Hehe
