This will help us attract or service MNCs and attract FDI. Businesses like Cyberspace Command work based on cooperating with MNCs for technology, expertise, skills and sometimes even products. We would like a cultural transformation. The attitude needs to be adjusted from a "this is Sri Lanka, not Singapore" to a "we're Sri Lanka, we'll take it seriously".
Having a good vision is a great way to move towards the right direction. But I would like to see is more sincere buy in from the stakeholders. It seems that many people don't understand we're a team and this is where things sadly go wrong. People don't yet understand when there's problems in the supply chain everyone suffers. We need Gota to take the lead with this.
On our side, I know without paying Corporation Taxes for IT, we can invest and develop competitive solutions. We can position ourselves well. Dr Hans Wijayasuriya told me that we're well positioned in the cyber security sphere. We're working hard on supporting our bank customers. We'll like to expand overseas rapidly via Axiata.
