This is exactly what Sasha Baron Cohen is doing with his comedy. He made fun of how some people hate the Jews with his, "Jews have claws" skit.
In Borat2, there was that hug moment. It was a joke because Cohen is Jewish, but it does draw light into how ridiculous antisemitism is.
I do not think unless this was done, there would be any real understanding -- and if it was not entertaining or funny, nobody would care.
