I loved to hear our Air Force fly jets over us. I love how we won our war for freedom in SL.
The Tamils outnumber us 3 to 1 globally, but we got the LTTE marked as a terrorist organisation globally and defeated them somehow.
LTTE were cowards, they used suicide bombing and targeted civilians. It is unfortunate they were able to become such an annoyance as a repercussion of our weak economy.
We need a strong rule of law, a functioning judiciary, etc. I will be watching Independence Day celebrations on tv or maybe meet my family members.
