I've been having slow burn stress piling up, I'm not coping so well. I did suffer a few flashbacks, regarding ███████, this Wegapitiya guy, worries that we might suffer a betrayal, wondering to myself good defenses for criticisms I might encounter, etc.

I am watching Mank. I don't get how complex the dialogue is, it is not humanely possible for anyone to be able to understand this stuff, when they are being said, let alone with subtitles, as it is so damned deep. I am about 70% in the movie now. It's a good movie.

What I feel is that a movie like The Godfather, it is good, because it is easy to understand. I like it. With this movie Mank, it is not there. I like how movies are 24 fps, a movie like Will Smith's Gemini Man on 60 fps, it is just too stressful. The human eye, it takes it in, processes, it is micro trauma stress which adds up.

It's like slow violence. It is stress that builds up. The more dialogue, the more imagery, the worse it is. I want to sort of make my script aerodynamic. It has to be shaped in a way, where if it was dropped in the sky, it will, like an old plane, get lift, and always fall down head first, and not from the tail end.

What I mean is, that it has got to be somehow, symmetric, it has to rhyme. It is like poetry. It is like, everything adds up, it builds up, it goes in a certain direction, it has to go that way. And, you enjoy being part of the journey, the adventure.

I also noticed, that as far as acting goes. It is really about believing you are the character, really putting yourself in those shoes. In my script, obviously, I am cheating badly because SPOILER. But, even so, it is SOILER and that takes a lot of extra efforts.

I am deeply disappointed by the Oscars. Movies like Joker, with Phoenix, that guy should've just won best actor, but not best picture. Mank, best set design. Something like Nomadland, documentary, or i guess, something like cinematography.

I am nice and relaxed and very comfy in my room, it is warm under my bedsheet quilt and it is super cool thanks to the air conditioning, it is nice and quiet, like how i like it, and my room is beautifully well lit.

Buddhi Athauda is here on my PYMK, he is ambassador to France, and also Spain and Portugal. I will have to intro people to Pauline █████, she is a bit too nice and isn't a killer and stuff, she doesn't know many people, I will help her out, so she can be successful. She was very nice to me in university and helped when I was depressed away from home.

Buddhi, I will talk to about Portugal because we are doing business with Jorge (pronounced George) Andre Nunes who is representing the Symington Family who offer Graham's Tawny Port Wine. We have to use our diplomatic power to get good deals with them. We can waive off some of the tariffs. Otherwise, if we are importing, it will be too pricey.

If Jorge is based in Singapore, sells in Singapore, I was in Changi Airport, as it's my favorite type of wine, along with shared number one spot: champagne, from the Champagne region, where Pauline can help, and I like to drink port like Churchill, the price is quite high. It is like $100 or $200 bucks at Changi Airport. In the UK, I had it for like 20 pounds off Tesco. I finished the whole bottle very fast, in one day, it had sugar, so I did some rigorous exercise as I am scared of diabetes.

In Sri Lanka, unlike with Singapore, we can do what we wish, the rules can be adjusted to protect our community, as usual. So, we can change things, we can set prices better.

I was meaning to stock the hotels and restaurants and get them to offer it to guests at discount rates, as we can tell them that we'd give them tax breaks or something, just to get it moving. But obviously, and I am also somewhat shocked by this, Covid-19 happened. It is hard for me to understand how this has still remained a big problem.

7 million deaths, a 100m jobs displaced. I don't know, I read in Germany, there were 100,000 cases in one day or something, 50,000 cases in one day because of the 4th wave. Jorge says that during Covid-19, sales were up, as you can keep port in the fridge, it lasts a long time, so it is good.

But we didn't create enough demand yet. The people who do the competitor: Taylors, don't have any political power compared to us. I know those people. Their guys are trying to join my team. Wijeratne. Or something. I don't know, I can't remember. We know them. Unless, I talk to people actively, I don't remember names.

I don't remember anyone on my PYMK list. I can't put a name to a face, but I might remember things about them if I was told. Anyway, we can basically get everyone to buy a lot of bottles. It's an digestif, we can give it to guests/diners, at discount rates.

I checked, Amal de Silva Wijeyeratne is the guy doing Rockland Distillery, some of their people are supporting my team. Harry Jayawardena is a family friend: his friends like Sineth Withanage, people like that help me out with our operations. Everyone knows Thilanga.

I think if it's 1,000 x bottles at $10. Then it adds up to $10,000, and so, we have to get tariffs removed and stuff, we can figure it out.

I'm reading these books on screenwriting as I don't want to bother Craig Good (Jonathan's friend) who is an assistant professor in California College of the Arts and is a professional screenwriter.
