“Harvey” is Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████, Page Six reported that Lana changed the opening of the line to “Ah, he’s in the sky with diamonds” after Weinstein discovered his first name was in the song. Though it appears to not have made it to the studio cut, it is changed in the lyrics that were provided in the album’s booklet since release. Del Rey previously met Weinstein in Paris for lunch in 2012, a few months prior to the album and song’s release, and later wrote the song “Big Eyes” for Weinstein’s 2014 film Big Eyes.

In an October 2017 MTV interview, the singer addressed the rumours, denying that “Cola” is specifically about Weinstein:

I envisioned, like, a benevolent, diamond-bestowing-upon-starlets visual, like a Citizen Kane or something. I thought it was funny at the time, and I obviously find it really sad now. I support the women who have come forward. I think they’re really brave for doing that. Obviously I don’t feel comfortable with it now, I thought of that right away.
