Tariffs, Reciprocity, and Why Harassing a Diplomat Makes Me Furious

April 8, 2025 Lehan Edirisinghe

Tariff retaliation framed as common-sense reciprocity; diplomat harassment condemned, alongside personal claims about low sweating and disbelief at “fiction” framing I lay out tariff retaliation as plain reciprocity, then I condemn the harassment of a diplomat and what it says about a country's seriousness

Asking Whether Anyone Would Believe This Is Fiction

If I told, any of you, this is fiction.

Would 1 of 100 believe it?

Not Sweating Much After Strenuous Exercise

I never sweat. Even after like strenuous exercise, my back, might have moisture, but doesn't sweat. I don't sweat because I have all lean muscle. Not much water weight in my body.

Defending Julie Chung Over Sri Lankan Tariff Criticism

It's sad that Julie Chung's being tortured (systematically, persistently harassed) by the Sri Lankan government, the ministers over the tariffs. There's nothing she can do about it. And those tariffs are common sense.

In fact, go ask any of the 193 leaders running a country:

"if you have a country with 88% tariffs on your products (exports), what would you do to their products (imports)? "

Answer:

You will counter or retaliate with tariffs against them

Or else, otherwise, you will just, give them a discounted tariff of 44% to be nice, so they can adjust

Please stop bullying, harassing and criticizing her, she is a diplomat, you don't have a right to treat her with cruelty.

Guessing There Are About 193 Countries

I don't know how many countries there are, I think it's 193 or something
