I am upgrading AngryPages. Again. We are loading out the podcast summary product, we want to win traffic/habit.

I think more that we want AngryPages® to be a brand people want to be a part of. Some kind of extension of themselves.

Something like, a luxury, Louis Vuitton piece of clothing or designer handbag, except that they wear it externally for the whole world to see.

What good's a great house, a university qualification or a car, which you can show off when people visit, see your office wall or when you are driving?

OR a phone or laptop or this or that status symbol, when instead, you can show your own book, as part of AngryPages, to be proud of?

That's what we want AngryPages to be all about.

A piece of someone, a part of their identity.

Awe striking. As a sort of status symbol, Patrick Bateman would kill for.

Not a business card.

That's the kind of true product we're selling.

AngryPages will need to go to Amazon KDP next. I got my passport. I need to photo it and show it to them. So I am part of it, and the Apple Developer Program and also the IRS US tax service, they need it. And also OpenAI Platform needs my Gov't ID, so we need to show it to all 4. That will alleviate stress.

ON MONDAY, I am going to work with Hemasiri to print out his book. We can do 50 copies or 100 copies. I can give him Rs 35,000 and split it 50/50.

Worth doing. I am confident on the book. It's a cool book.

And nothing in SL, has quite the shine, the ring to it, quite as "AngryPages" do, as a publisher, it just sounds cool.

And same syllables as McDonald's only if I can count properly. Or that "S" in the end is a syllable on its own.

I dunno.

We're going to be a cult brand hopefully. I'm glad Hemasiri is essentially, a AngryPages evangelist, pretty much.

Very awesome.

Amazon KDP will help with like discoverability.

I'm pretty happy and sad, but mostly sad, that we're just $600 bucks, $600 dollars, not $600k or m or b, but just $600 bucks in sales.

BUT in SL, when nearly 5% has been perpetually unemployed for 30 years, straight, where unemployment stats on SL kept SL on the top 10 list of unemployed for decades, like failed states...

When 90% of people never even try to start a business.

When 90% of businesses in the USA fail, when 99% fail by 2nd year, we're still alive, even if we're still either kicking the bucket or kicking choking on the rope, not so much on the ropes, but hanging....

We're still alive.

We're still alive as a business. We're trademarked. We've got 2 authors earning nearly 20 sales. We got 2 with more sales. Including me.

And we're still alive.

I even made $120 bucks in gross profit, before we pay for everything else. From SL. Which is the hardest of the hard modes in doing business there is. It could just as easily have been Sierra Leone or Palestine or Pakistan. That's astronomically difficult. But we're still doing it.
