I spent the day loading negotiation ideas, Voss-style playbooks, and team-execution pressure into the same frame, trying to stay sharper than everyone else while the pace kept snowballing.

Let's say #1 has 100 points and #2 has 95 points and #3 has 90 points for being best. #2 and #3 can try to get 10 points each to get to 105 and 100 points beating us and equalling us. The Jewel was an antidote to complacency, it gave us the 6 points required to stay ahead of the curve. But we gotta keep striving to be even better and to be and stay the best. It's being #1 consecutively that counts. If anybody asks why, please tell them the #196 is always #196 consecutively for the same reason.
