Notes Avalanche: Piracy, Marriage, Team Diversity, and Power Ambition

September 4, 2020

I kept pushing through a heavy day of a 24-post burst mixed social commentary, business ambition, and I closed it by staying in control and moving my story forward.

One chief regret is that I didn't join Lodge of Gratitude 5614 EC in England. I lost the chance to work as a bookie in a member's betting shop. I made a mistake joining Wyggeston Lodge 3448 under University Scheme. I enjoyed the food and made the best of it.

I only want to earn money and buy things to enjoy my life. I believe life is pleasurable, happy and a lot of fun.

My interpretation of religion is unique. If you ask anyone to draw a picture of Jesus, they all have someone unique in mind. My interpretation is formed based on scientific knowledge of history and the context relevant to those days. Jacques Huyghebaert is one of my most important friends because he was quoted in The Hiram Key by Christopher Knight and Alan Butler who researched religious origins--fascinating to me. My version of Christianity values the freedom of Protestantism, understands how Christianity wouldn't exist if not for Roman Catholicism, may have roots in mystery religions such as Zoroastrianism or Mythrism, and of course, I'm an old Testament heavy Christian. Islam is something I only recently understood because my uncle's company employed a Muslim man called Nawaz Raheem, and his son Afflli Raheem joined my team as our Chief Strategy Officer. He gave me a big Qur'an, which is by Mohamed Yusuf Ali. Another Muslim called Shahim Fahmy at Alpex Marine, where I first worked for 6 months, gave me a small Qur'an which i fear was immensely redacted. I think I'll read the Hadith later onwards. I read the Tripitaka, but only English version of Digha Nikaya and vinaya and I couldn't find a English translation of the Pali or Sanskrit Abdhidharmma which is interesting. Buddhism is underrated, it hasn't reached it's full potential and needs to be developed. The Abdhidharmma contains almost science fiction and very complex ideas which suggest Buddha was enlightened.

The most interesting ideas for me this year were from watching tv shows and movies. I watched a lot of content. Christopher nolan did a good job at Westworld. The idea of programming people and simulations within simulations where he also made the ultimate mind f*** movie, the Inception movie, was important for me. Rick and Morty and other content was impressive as these considered very unique ideas.

The Dharmapada, I don't know. But abidharma I guess considers space. In christianity, the story of the tower of Babel is as far up or as high as it goes. Space was something Buddha was aware of. The Buddha taught a lot of things. Some documents which were ancient and contained secret knowledge was stolen by the British during colonisation, but they couldn't make sense of this. I hope to gain access to this hidden knowledge. Buddha taught for example that sentient life forms created because of craving for life and to grow.

I loved halo for the story. The story of forerunners and the precursors. It's insane. The story of space spores creating the zombie problem, these ideas make me marvel. Sri Lanka has the lowest gravitational pull in the world, it's likely that aliens will visit us as it's easiest for them to leave our orbit from Sri Lanka.

Arthur C Clarke stayed in Sri Lanka because there's something special about our country. Our people are blessed, there's a goodness to us. Even the Muslims told me that Sri Lanka was the garden of Eden and that this story of Adam's Peak was because this is where it all happened.

I have hope for Sri Lanka. I have hope. I'm extremely well positioned because of my family's successful position. I sort of want to add value to this and do new things.

I'm most proud of my team for our diversity. We have Muslims, Jewish people, Catholics, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Tamils, Malays, Burghers, etc. I love it. It's my crowning achievement. They all bring a lot of value to us. They all have unique perspectives which add and shape us up. Where one can fail, another can succeed. Where ███████ sacrifices her life like Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson in Avengers End Game, our team will survive. Where we all can do nothing on our own, we're stronger and can do otherwise impossible, very important things as a team. Of course, we don't want any sacrifices. But I felt very happy sad and cried a few times because of how ███████ and then Charith told me that they're willing to sacrifice for our team and surrender their earnings for our company's survival.

Thilanga uncle asked us how come we need him if our team is there and our team should be able to get deals by ourselves. I think that as a team we can go further. Personally, I just prefer it this way. I'll protect my team. I keep my word. I'm not like my uncle Lal, I don't cheat anyone, I don't steal or betray my friends and family, or anybody.

Notes:

I have a cult following. That's just a fact. I have die hard loyalists to support me. It doesn't matter how stupid, how crazy, bad, evil or ugly, my loyal friends will jump out of the window and into the well with me, they'll jump off the cliff with me, they'll flip off the frying pan into the fire. Not everyone has that, and that's that special something dreams, magic and anything truly worthwhile are made of. Substance, is the ingredient to results. I guess, to be on the same tier as Henry Ford as an industrialist (I don't like how Ford was antisemitic), to be on the same league as George Washington (I don't approve how Washington traded slaves) or to cut from the same clothe as Buzz Aldrin (I don't 100% like his service in Vietnam, despite my political agnosticism towards the Domino Effect of communism; and as a Freemason, I wish he had stepped out before Neil Armstrong), you need loyalty. I guess, the best part is again, my team's conviction, I believe it's their diversity. I'm not only a Sri Lanka, Sinhala Buddhist or Asia market appropriate brand; I have crossed generations, I have won a universal fan following and I'm approved by all groups.

Maybe Cyberspace Command must not depend precariously upon individual personalities, but in the initial stage, I was the founder and it required my mind's DNA to survive, and only when I'm dead will you be able to judge the strength of it as an institution--based purely on how it outlasts, outlives and outgrows me, our founding pioneer team and board, and crosses into other cultures, almost as though it was the USS Enterprise ready to meet alien species to build union with. The dream will never die, that was the rocket fuel, that was what drew our excalibur out of the rock (as a child called Arthur did, touching the hand of G-d to be crowned king) when everyone else couldn't get it (or couldn't get in to see and meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong), that's our secret sauce, our holy of holies, our confidential proprietary information and our secret name of G-d.

You can't buy my team. You can't buy truth. You can only inspire a team. You can't fake bonds or friendship, you just can't. Mahatma Gandhi couldn't have done anything if not for his ability to charm people, in the same way, Sir Winston Churchill couldn't have convinced people to send 20,000 British troops to colonise a 300,000,000 Indians without charisma. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ I have no real attractiveness. My only hope for acting is based on my cannibalistic narcissism of how handsome 9/11 volunteer fireman Steve Buscemi is with his crooked teeth, or maybe Sylvester Stallone. Maybe Sammy Davis Junior, I don't know. My team is too big, too educated and too experienced to make mistakes. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ These people are here for a reason. G-d put these people in my team. G-d was the one who made all of this happen.

With G-d as the captain, the master and the force behind us, we cannot fail, we have made no financial losses and we have never suffered any hits legally, to our reputation or to our health. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Notes:

Talk about diet. I prefer good food. If you cook food that doesn't taste good, it is worse than having made nothing at all, because you have misunderstood the value of life, you have smote G-d's love and you have pretty much wasted good ingredients which people worked very hard to grow or collect and spent billions to research and thousands of years to grow a specific way.

I miss Singapore and England for the food. I used to look forward to my Freemasons Lodge Meeting every month because I would get a good meal, much better than one would expect at the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). I would get a very good meal. If I paid extra, maybe £35 instead of £25, I would get wine too. But I never did because I wanted to save money to buy overpriced lingerie for girls. I loved the Festive Board in England. And sadly, as is the accursed nature in comparison and in identifying what is good, correct or proper, one must also on the other hand point out what is mediocre, terrible and sad. The food in Freemasonry in Sri Lanka is terrible. Even the Lion brand beer or wine, isn't really that good. I guess I prefer craft beer. These people have never lived as I have. It's akin to birds bred in captivity who have never known free wild flight, but that's a bad allegory or comparison because those wild birds suffer fright every day from harm and they rarely live half as long as or enjoy the stability of food or water or the joy of human interaction a captive bred bird in a cage. The grass is greener on the other side, but those crows would trade anything to be a caged parrot.

"Financially conservative, socially liberal", but truly, it's only always all about the money, and therefore, being Republican is the only real choice for America. After all the hard work, the good luck and sacrifices, it's just not sensible to throw it all away. A Democratic takeover of the White House can destroy the American Dream.

Remember to say that $15hour x 8 work hours day = $120 per day. $120 x 5 weekdays = $600 per week. $600 x 4 weeks = $2,400 per month. $2,400 every month x 12 months = $28,800 per year. That might sound rosy, picturesque and wonderfully beautiful, but that's just for 1 employee. If you need to run a business, you need a team. I would say you need 10 people minimum. If you have 5 people at $28,800 that's over $144,000 per year. If it's 10 minimum wage people, that's $288,000 per year. Plus, they don't get all that money, they have to pay income taxes, taxes for all sorts of things and you have to earn $288,000 revenue just to breakeven on employee expenses. That doesn't seem realistic. █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ By the way, you can't get the best people at minimum wage, you need to pay people properly to get the right people, get loyal people and to get results. Maybe, Biden can argue that Small to Medium size Enterprises or Start Up corporations can avoid the minimum wage requirements, but in that case, you're having a umbrella policy that might not fit everyone suitably. If a start up gives up equity, notably Class B Preferential Shares which privilege the holder to a prioritised share of the profits, that's a bad idea because it will suffocate the startup and render it uncompetitive if you need flexibility when governing your business.

Notes:

Talk about building castles in the sky is a dream. But to remember when William Blake penned, the very idea of whether Jerusalem was builded here, amongst those dark satanic mills, began as castles in the clouds in people's imaginations. Those eggs were counted before they hatched.

Comment:

I don't like this. I don't like Reese Mogg as he sang Rule Britannia. Remember to make myself look very politically correct and very popular and to make it seem like a movie and that I must take my time and cues from Jeff Bezos. Better to avoid anything dark or negative. Even with Lal pretend to be kind, heroic like Simba and offer mercy, and kindness. Try to highlight team's contributions and personal sacrifices. Say history will remember us and we will be the benchmark and the story every Sri Lankan will remember with a smile.

Knowing my audience is important. █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ I guess, I can pretend to be like Vijaya Kumaratunga, who has been English educated in his depiction in Ganga Addara. I should try to be like him as he was viewed as more popular than Upali Wijewardena who supported diversity and the Tamils. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Might be advantageous to write the whole thing first in Sinhalese language. This will be well received. My mother tongue is Sinhalese, although my master language is English. Pretend to be the hero. Say I work 10 hours a day fully absorbed in cyber security. Maybe mention Robert Bigman wants to help. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Say it's a competition and this isn't a good way to survive. █████████████████████████████ I dunno.

Notes:

Say something to bash bad people: not to bash people, but people with bad characteristics that do not show love for others. Say that to understand and help people is greater than to misunderstand and hurt people. Bash the bad characteristics. Say that evil lies in everyone's hearts and minds, no point demonising anyone, when even the devil is not beyond redemption as he was able to speak to G-d to test Job and that this must mean that Satan is above us in G-d's view as he has the power to do so. We should respect that and try to understand and include that demonic entity in our lives, as to demonize is to err as humans, and if we refuse to correct errors they'll be mistakes which cost our souls, and that to forgive is divine. It is said Allah is oft merciful and that G-d forgives us, it must therefore be in our nature to forgive, as we are not the prophets to maintain civil order, and we are not the creation of the serpent who shall never forgive and will always hurt pained in unforgiven hell, being unable to forgive, understand and accept people for who they are.

Say I forgive Sandalal. He made a small mistake. He was there for me. I'm happy he's around. Say I forgive Thilanga uncle. He's just brought up in Nalanda school to discipline people as such, say it verbally and not in writing as I can manipulate my tone. I can also say this without any kind of offense, without patronising or deriding or making him look bad or embarrassing him.

Say I called everyone. Called Sumal Perera, Ashok Pathirage uncle and his family, whatever. Say that it's easier and more comfortable to relate to them. Say it's only a small Crowd I can trust and be around safely.

Say that Dharmadasa family something good, say good about Albert Edirisinghe and his son, say good about Sohli Captain and Lal Silva, say it was a waste to not unleash Duminda silva potential, say that Ranatunga family is united and say good things, say good things about Kumar Sangakkara, say good things about Sanath Jayasuriya, say good things about Mahela, Rajendra Theagarajah, everyone. Say you wish Sandhya Dharmadasa aunty was part of our funeral service as she showed she was loyal to us.

Say that Channa Palansuriya uncle tried his best at Sampath Bank and they can't be blamed. Say if anyone's asking for a favour, it needs to be either Thilanga or Jagath uncle and not me. Say that it needs to be that we improve as a country, but that we copy Israel or Singapore where younger generations are given a chance, a fair chance and are treated with respect if they can deliver.

Try best to say something positive about Tamils, Muslims, Burghers, Malays, Parsis, etc. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Say he's not my friend and I don't work for him, that he's my family, my uncle and he's like my dad.

Notes:

Quote Sumal Perera saying his servants are happier than him and then apply this to Dr Hans Wijayasuriya who is probably suffering from serious stress having to fly back and forth from Malaysia to run Axiata. Say I care and love these people.

Say I was shocked to see Gotabaya Rajapaksa bow down to Mahinda Rajapaksa because of his white hair. Talk about Jagath uncle and his white hair and his white beard, say I disapprove cause it makes him older. Say Stephen Labrooy is 83, Sohli Captain is 87 and that Jacques Huyghebaert is 75, but that Jagath uncle who is probably in his 50s looks older than them.

Talk about the cultural phenomenon where people call each other uncle or aiya. Say it caused problems in business as I wasn't seen as professional by Sampath Bank and NDB. But that I disagree as business is personal and that trust is more important than anything else. Say it's the people who make up companies and that this emotional intelligence matters.

███████████████████████████████████████████████████ ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ ████████████████ █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ Say something about Thilanga uncle singing a song at Kingsbury and Harshana Perera singing a Sinhala song. Say something to connect them. Say good things about Harry Jayawardena. Talk good of Ajit Gunawardana, say good things about Capital Maharaja directors but that we prefer if there's actionable progress and that we want to improve things. █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████ ████████████████████████

Say good things about other IT companies and that they went out of their way to help us. Say good about the country. Boast about how many have interest in my company. Say we want to modernise things here.

Say that the US market or the British market is more mature and we need to take lessons from that. Say humility is a virtue and that the song "Api Kawda" is important to capture the soul of our nation. We're going to have to connect, add value, act as leaders, work together and work hard to compete internationally in order to survive.

Say that the Jewish people have done a lot for us. Talk de Worms, cousins to the Rothschild family, who planted tea after coffee failed, that we got Kfirs to finally end the war. Say that I love everyone, but I'm proud most of the Jewish people. Say my Jewish friends have done many good things for me.
