Writing the History Section and Fixing the Site's Readability

The workday is dominated by readability: narrowing text columns, moving from hard black to softer greys, fixing spacing, and trying to make the history pages easier on the eye without slowing the site down. Around that are hunger, heat, breakfast, Prince Philip, and the sense that the later history will be the controversial part.
Sandwiches, Hunger and Writing Controversial Modern History
7:30 a.m.
I am starving. I just had 2 sandwiches last night for dinner -- chicken ham.
I have to tell Manju not to put in any tomatoes. It does not go well for me, it is un-complementary for me.
I am "writing history". This early stuff is easier, but the later additions, the Modern History is controversial.
I have to think it through carefully -- Jacques can help me with it soon.
Narrower Grey Text for Easier Reading

The text in above is easier to read than text below:
The text, when it has long lines, is very difficult for the eye to track, it is microtraumatic, you suffer fatigue and feel distressed to do so
So, I have to manually edit it; to make narrow lines of text, which are easier to read through quickly

Another mistake I made was I wrote it in 000000 black ink, I should shift it to 444444 grey; so contrast is not as sharp and it is easier to read it all.
I will make the column horizontal or vertical* line a shade of purple or pink
Choosing Five Shades of Grey for the Website

I have to change the theme colours. I doubt I have used HEX 000000 black anywhere except for our company's legal name in footer
I want to use 5 shades of grey:

HEX 444 444 (Majority)
HEX 666 666
HEX 777 777*

Fixing a Tight Fit That Spells “Inconvenience”

I have a tight fit on this page's right bottom hand corner, which could spell trouble for users.
Or "i" "n" "C" "o" "n" "v" "e" "n" "I" "E" "n" "c" "E"
Which spells inconvenience.
It is difficult.
I guess, I will make it a better fit.
Our site does scale to fit a user's browser, but even so, I want this to fit properly
might as well put it in next page --
or not.
I do not know, it is hard. I will think about it.
Comparing Character Spacing, Line Height and Image Loading

The window on left side is same text as window on the right hand side:
The left text, has 0 character spacing (the leading^? or corning^? between characters) and has 1.2 line spacing it looks like automatically--
The right text has 0.05 character/ text spacing and an optimal 1.4 line spacing 140%, which is more legible --
It is easier to read the one on the right
I am reluctant to add images/ pictures, because it can really cause a slow down in loading times.
I dunno, I will think about it, I might add a few--
Even if these pages take longer to load, the initial welcome/ home page is easier to read through
It loads a lot faster--
I can later augment/ boost with better hosting solutions and services to make it faster
Starving After Working and Missing England

Now I am like starving, to the point, of muscle wasting-- So, I must go and eat something fast.
I just have too much fun working.

I made myself coffee, it will cool and the coffee sediment will fall to the bottom soon.
I learn Prince Philip was a Freemason--seems a lot of us are brethren.
Prince Philip was initiated into Navy Lodge No. 2612 in 1952 as a Freemason and always paid dues when he died.
