Propaganda Lessons and War-Fear TV

February 8, 2022 Lehan Edirisinghe

I bounce between media study, historical propaganda warnings, and modern war anxiety, while mixing in publishing fantasies and a hard line about who gets access to me. The conflict is obsession versus leadership, the stake is what I normalize, and the payoff is trying to turn watching into judgment.

Patents, Free Ideas and Humane Prison Reform

4:30 p.m.

I might end up with inventing patents one day. I am a bit Tesla like though, I give away my discoveries for free to everyone because while I do want to earn money off my ideas -- I am happier if others benefit.

███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

What I liked to see in this TV show. Was that this prisoner, in his cell, he has a computer. A desktop. A laptop. I think that the punishment for prisoners is that they sacrifice and lose their time for the mistakes they made. They lose freedom. That's enough.

They should be encouraged to learn while in prison. See, these ideas, I want to share them with the world for free because I am generous and I am not after money. My firm, our firm, it signs a $100m deal, I don't have to work again. So, why should I be chasing after money? Why bother?

It's better to spread ideas. Ted talks are free. I don't like most Ted talks, i find them boring, for me, I need there to be a very high entertainment value in order for me to be able to watch it.

I like prisons. I like playing prison architect on my laptop. I like the German player's prison designs. I am confused that Sri Lanka doesn't copy and use the best designs in the world, the best systems and ways of doing things in the world.

I love how that prisoner I saw, in this tv show, he was getting a laptop. In my prison in Prison Architect, I had a big room, like in Norway for former masonic brother Anders Breivik, that had an individual shower, a personal computer or laptop, a gym or elliptical machine, a library, etc.

Judges, Police and Removing Drug Dealers’ Profits

4:45 p.m.

(b)

Since when, did the judges get so stupid? The people, the politicians we elect, they anyway, thank G-d, have more power, they make and interpret the laws, the judges explain that interpretation only.

Since when did cops get so stupid? They are being outsmarted by criminals. Why can't cops control drugs by getting rid of the supplier's profitability?

That way, you control the problem 100%. You do it profitably, you stamp out crooks and you help the poor helpless drug addicts.

Story

Why Government Should Replace Criminal Drug Dealers

5:00 p.m.

Drug dealers don't give a f*** about the drug addict, the drug addict's family--except in Moonlight, they are just cheap, violent criminals.

The government, doctors, the police, they do care, they can help people. We are stealing money from doctors, the lawyers, the police, when we bow down to criminal drug dealers, allowing them to earn off drugs.

We should hit them where it hurts; the pocket. When they realize, there's no money profit in drugs, they will stop doing it.

When our people, the cops, teachers, doctors, the 1,000 families of victims, if there are 45,000 drug addicts in Sri Lanka, or 50,000 addicts, then the 150,000 direct family members, the 450,000 relatives, the millions who see them--when they realize, oh we can earn legal profits off ending drugs, they'd do it.

If our Navy capture 500kg of heroin, if the DEA find 10,000 kg of heroin, why are we not providing it to drug addicts for free or via the government? If there are 1,000,000 heroin drug addicts in America, if you gave them the DEA's 10,000 kg for free, instead of destroying it, this just means, you destroy the drug cartel's profits for that year.

When drug cartels have no money for buying guns, no money to buy vehicles or dig tunnels or pay bribes, or even to manufacture drugs, no money for lawyers. No money to pay for assassinations, to lobby congress, no money to do horrific crimes portrayed in the movie Eden (2012), such as human trafficking, kidnapping or abduction of young girls, for forced prostitution, often forcibly injected with heroin, to make them addicts, that can be controlled.

The good guys, the innocent, the addicts, the families who are the real victims, they benefit, we are safe, our families, relatives, kids, they are finally safe.

Story

Prison Grouping, Guard Authority and Criminal Friendships

5:15 pm.

What I don't like about prisons, is that, in school, people often group up. They get along with people from the same skin color, the same race, religious group, national origin, or political opinion.

So, they cluster up. It's a general trend that is extremely likely to happen anywhere, in any time.

The guards, should be in charge, a judge should be in charge, not a prison gang leader.

It's like enriching uranium, like distilling down castor beans to make ricin or sarin or mustard or cyanide, or Zyklon B, you have a problem where people who are on the right track, they do better; the ones who are insecure, on the bad path, they get worse, they hang out with the wrong crowd, who bring out the worst in them, they often group up.

I have seen, often criminals, they have friends who are criminals. In Sopranos, Tony's friends are mob guys, all of them, they steal Ray Bans (sunglasses) together.

A Leicester Walk, Asda Shopping and Finding an Old Newspaper Feature

1:00 a.m.

(c)

I was walking to John Foster Halls of residence in Leicester, from my weekly shopping at Asda. I was carrying my plastic bags home. I didn't need to cook for myself, I never really did, I'd get 2 x catered meals which were very filling as I weighed 42 kg.

Those British were often very large sized, and they'd eat just 2 x meals too. So, it was a lot more than I could eat. Worse, I would often not finish as I was too full. I often served less food than the rest.

On Saturdays, we'd have brunch, as the rest were having hangovers. They'd get second or third servings often, even on other days, I could only go for 1 x serving, maybe once, I did 2 servings.

I think, I only cooked for fun, for enjoyment.

Asda is done by Walmart, who sell guns in the US.

When I was walking, on the pavement, with my Asda bags once, I swear to G-d, I saw this newspaper lying flat on the ground, it was a naked lady.

I think it was The Sun, Page 3.

I couldn't believe it.

I mean, I had a pretty messed up, repressive childhood.

So, I couldn't believe it.

I just thought, hehehe, this is where I should be!

I walked on by.
