It just lowers any burn out, you can't run a F1 car in a bad, public road. And I only like to race. You will have serious damages to the car if you try it. Many people here, if this was Cars the animation movie, are trucks, tractors. There are a few nice cars. But I'm the formula one car.

It shouldn't be something we do on absolute terms.

Maybe if 100,000 and maybe less than 50 undergraduate fields of study. Then 100k / 50 = 2,000 students per field on average. Some courses such as business are more popular. As are doctors and engineers.

35 percent are partially influenced by our guidelines. However, the school will always make any final decision. I want these people selected on business case, or potentials for those people to thrive in business or leadership or their respective fields. We will publish our reasons why.

The 35% or 700 for international students, and this also eats into the regional students, although we strive for more global reach. So for instance, the 30%, sure if Asian students join, great, Oceania is fine. So is Middle East. But this 35% is geared more to West, Africa, South America and Japan.

When we select these kids..

We want to only select leaders.

It doesn't matter if the person's grades suck, as long as you can see who he or she really is, what he or she is all about, his or her character, the personality, the vision they have, what they have to offer, that matters much more.. because we don't want people who are only book smart, or can absorb information like a sponge. We want critical thinkers, misfits, people who are new. Innovative. This is going to be the big area for us.

I think the people in Sri Lanka who have degrees from local universities, they will keep that, and then they can get a certification from our new SLU, but that the transcripts and many time stamps will read they went to that older University of Colombo, Moratuwa, Peradeniya, Jayawardena Pura, etc.

Otherwise it damages our credibility and institutional reputation. Because we need to be a top 1,000 school, or top 500 school. If Uni of Colombo, then fine, because it's 1,500 but many schools are well below this, they are graded 2, 3, 6,000 or so.

The course will be very difficult. As the standards are so much higher.

I don't know what the wind speeds are in Sri Lanka when I tried to see if a GAAP switch can take off or gain lift.

But it's mostly to do with digitization. It's to computerize everything. All of our accounting. I also want mathematics tied to computing. As even a calculator is a computer. Or a portable Oxford dictionary is a computer. It just follow an algorithm or logic.

With GAAP, a modified version with LIFO, you have maybe close to 20 text books compared with 7 books for IFRS. Sure as many firms use IFRS, you can do it for them. But as far as we go, it's mostly about automation.

Does this mean structural unemployment?

Yes.

Because that's the global trend. We are just taking a few steps ahead of the curve. As innovators or early adopters.

Yes means yes.

Yea means that you have a net negative according to many analysts.

However it also means structural employment in my book.

Because what I seem to be doing is offering real value to the world.
