Do I need an account to read AngryPages?

No. You can read public material without an account. An account is needed for account features, purchases, paid access, and publishing tools.

How do I open Settings or log out?

On desktop, click your name in the left navigation, then choose Settings or Logout. On mobile, open the menu and tap Settings or Logout below your name.

What can I manage in Settings?

Settings lets you manage reading preferences, account details, privacy, billing, notifications, AI logs, usage, your AngryPages passphrase, and account deletion. Use Save Settings after changing a saved preference.

Is AngryPages a social network?

No. AngryPages is publisher-led: the goal is lasting, readable work rather than an endless feed. Editorial judgment, access rules, and publication quality matter here.

Can I use AngryPages on my phone?

Yes. AngryPages works in a modern mobile browser as well as on desktop. For longer writing and editing, a larger screen may be more comfortable.

Who operates AngryPages?

AngryPages Inc, a California corporation, operates AngryPages and is generally the merchant of record for platform purchases. AngryPages Holdings Inc, a Delaware corporation, owns or administers core platform intellectual property. See Entity and Contact for the controlling details.

How do I find something worth reading?

Begin on the main reading page, then move by year, date, author, or available topic controls. A strong title or opening usually tells you quickly whether a piece is for you.

Why can I see an entry but not open all of it?

Some work is public, sensitive, paid, private, unreleased, age-gated, or unavailable in a region. The Access guide explains the levels; seeing a title does not promise access to the full work.

What do Public, Sensitive, Paid, and Private mean?

Public is broadly readable; Sensitive needs more care; Paid requires an approved purchase or unlock; Private is not generally available. See Access for the complete rules.

Do I need to pay for everything?

No. Public reading does not require payment. Eligible paid content or actions show their price and benefit before purchase; see Billing before buying.

Can I share or quote something I read?

You may share links. Quoting, copying, reposting, training on, or commercially using content depends on the work, amount, purpose, and applicable rights, so check the relevant terms before reusing it.

What is the benefit to me?

AngryPages gives you a durable published product people can find, read, share, buy, and remember. Strong work can support your public identity, search presence, professional credibility, creative momentum, and long-term record, but publication does not guarantee attention or commercial success.

What is an AngryPage?

An AngryPage is the signature AngryPages digital story product: a focused publication built around your story, work, identity, experience, or point of view. It gives the material a clear title, permanent location, reader experience, and product structure instead of leaving it as an isolated upload.

Is AngryPages just a place to upload text?

No. Uploading stores material; publishing gives it purpose, structure, context, presentation, access rules, and a reader path. AngryPages is designed to turn serious material into something people can understand, trust, share, and build around.

I am a public figure. Should I create my own AngryPages?

Yes, when you want a durable first-person record of what you represent. A publication gives your audience, family, customers, supporters, and future readers a direct account they can return to instead of relying only on interviews, clips, commentary, or other people's versions.

Is AngryPages vanity publishing or a sales trap?

No. AngryPages offers a real publishing platform, and publishing may be available within the displayed free allowance. Paid editing, strategy, marketing, printing, and other professional services are optional unless an accepted offer or written agreement says otherwise. We do not promise that every submission will be accepted or every publication will sell.

Why not just publish on Amazon?

You can use both. Amazon is a large retail marketplace; AngryPages is a publisher-led story product built around identity, creator presence, digital storytelling, controlled access, discovery, and direct online positioning. The standard AngryPages license is non-exclusive unless a separate agreement says otherwise.

Am I paying AngryPages to fix my life or reputation?

No. Publishing can strengthen your public presence and give you a useful record, but AngryPages is not a law firm, therapist, reputation-repair company, or guaranteed career service. The value depends on the work, the audience, the publication route, and what you build from it.

How do I start publishing on AngryPages?

Do I need a finished book or a large audience?

No. A strong short story, diary entry, essay, chapter, or clear body of work can be enough to start. Quality, voice, purpose, and fit matter more than follower count.

What kind of writing is a good fit?

Writing with a real point of view, specific detail, memorable scenes, useful insight, or a strong narrative reason to exist is a good start. AngryPages can consider diaries, life stories, commentary, fiction, satire, mature work in approved lanes, and other serious creator work.

What should I prepare before submitting?

Prepare a clear title, a readable draft, the context a stranger needs, and confirmation that you have the right to submit the material. Remove accidental private information and identify any sources, permissions, or special handling the work needs.

What happens after I submit?

Submission does not guarantee publication. AngryPages may review fit, quality, rights, safety, access level, supporting context, and whether the work needs editing or a different publication route.

Can I use AI to help me write?

Yes, when used responsibly. You remain responsible for accuracy, rights, privacy, and the final submission; review the AI terms before using AI with sensitive or valuable material.

Is publishing on AngryPages free?

Basic publishing and hosting within the displayed free allowance do not require a recurring publishing fee. Extra storage, AI use, professional services, advertising, printing, ISBNs, shipping, and other paid or creator-specific work may cost money. The displayed offer and Storage, AI, and Metered Services control.

Should I use paid publishing support?

Use paid support when the work matters enough to need direct strategic judgment, editing, presentation, sensitive-detail review, launch planning, or a defined professional service. Paid support can improve the process, but it does not guarantee acceptance, sales, traffic, press, fame, or success. The accepted offer or written agreement controls the work included.

Will AngryPages edit my work for free?

Not automatically. Publication, listing, featuring, review, and ordinary support do not include professional editing, rewriting, co-writing, design, marketing, publicity, project management, or account management. Those services require an accepted paid package or authorized written agreement. See Platform Access Is Not Professional Services.

Can I earn money from my work?

Accepted creators may be eligible for paid access, direct sales, advertising participation, sponsorships, or other approved routes. Eligibility, accounting, refunds, review, and payouts follow the Creator Terms and Billing rules.

What percentage does a creator earn?

Unless a written agreement says otherwise, accepted creators receive 80% of eligible paid-access revenue, less the full actual sale-specific processing fee, and 50% of eligible net advertising revenue attributed to approved creator work. Sponsorships follow separate rules. Only approved, tracked, payable activity qualifies. See Paid Sales Share and Ad Revenue Share.

Why does AngryPages keep 20% of paid-access revenue?

AngryPages provides and operates the product system: publishing infrastructure, hosting, payment routing, access control, reader experience, product structure, compliance handling, and continuing platform operation. The creator keeps the larger share because the original work is theirs; the platform share supports the system that publishes and sells access to it.

When are creators paid?

AngryPages reviews creator balances monthly. If the payable balance is at least US $25, payout and tax information are complete, and no hold applies, payout is normally issued within 30 days after month-end. Smaller balances roll forward. Risk, disputes, processor review, or compliance checks can delay a payout. See Creator Payouts.

What happens to my earnings after a refund or chargeback?

Refunded, cancelled, charged-back, disputed, failed, or reversed sales create no revenue share. Previously credited shares may be reversed. Refunds, chargebacks, and taxes are removed first. AngryPages' 20% share is then calculated, and the full actual payment-processing fee is deducted from the creator's 80% share. See Paid Sales Share.

How do sponsorship revenue shares work?

If a creator brings an approved sponsor for promotion through AngryPages, eligible net sponsorship revenue is normally shared 80% to the creator and 20% to AngryPages. A jointly pursued enterprise campaign may use 50/50 only when both sides accept it in writing. Custom terms require written approval. See Creator-Sourced and Enterprise Sponsorships.

Who is responsible for marketing my work?

The creator is responsible for marketing the work and for creator-directed promotional costs unless AngryPages agrees otherwise in writing. AngryPages may provide organic discovery or discretionary promotion, but it does not promise publicity, traffic, audience growth, or sales. See Creator Marketing and Sales Expectations.

How should I market my AngryPage or book?

Start with people who already understand the work: trusted readers, supporters, family, professional contacts, customers, or a relevant community. Then expand through direct links, social media, newsletters, interviews, forums, events, partnerships, and carefully targeted advertising. Choose channels where the subject already has a credible audience.

What gives my work the best chance of succeeding?

Make the promise of the piece clear, open strongly, use specific details, and give the reader a reason to continue. Finish the thought, remove obvious friction, present it accurately, and publish work you can stand behind.

How do I build an audience here?

Publish consistently enough that readers know what to expect, use accurate titles, complete your creator identity, and share direct links to your strongest work. A smaller body of excellent work is more useful than a large archive nobody can navigate.

Does being featured or receiving traffic guarantee sales?

No. AngryPages may list, feature, recommend, advertise, or prominently display a work to substantial traffic, but readers may still choose not to buy it. Visibility creates an opportunity, not guaranteed interest, conversion, revenue, or audience growth. See Creator Marketing and Sales Expectations.

If nobody buys my work, did AngryPages fail?

No. Publication can create a durable public product before it creates revenue. Sales depend on demand, trust, price, subject, presentation, audience, timing, and marketing. AngryPages can provide the publishing system and may provide visibility; it cannot force readers to care, click, buy, share, or recommend.

What mistakes make a submission weaker?

Common problems are an unclear point, missing context, repetitive sections, unsupported certainty, copied material, unreadable formatting, and submitting a large archive without explaining what matters. Fix the reader's path first.

Does AngryPages approve sponsors and brand outreach?

Yes. Every sponsor promoted through AngryPages requires prior written approval and may be reviewed for claims, disclosures, legality, platform fit, trust, and safety. A creator may not use AngryPages' name, audience, inventory, introductions, or corporate relationships in brand outreach without prior written approval. See Enterprise Relationship Protocol.

Should I print my book immediately?

Usually no. Start digitally, test real reader demand, and protect enough of the budget for editing, presentation, distribution, and marketing. Print-on-demand or a small approved batch becomes more sensible when orders, a specific event, collector value, gifting, or another clear use justifies it.

Is digital publishing less serious than print?

No. Print carries physical status; digital provides reach, searchability, linking, controlled access, faster distribution, and easier updates. A serious digital publication can be read and shared anywhere. Print is valuable when the format serves the work, not simply because paper exists.

Who pays for ISBNs, printing, and shipping?

Many digital or platform-first AngryPages products need no ISBN initially. For an approved physical edition, creator-specific ISBN, printing, manufacturing, inventory, and uncovered shipping costs generally come from the creator's 80% share unless buyer payments cover them or AngryPages agrees otherwise in writing. Who owns the work I submit?

You keep ownership of your original content. You give AngryPages a non-exclusive operating license to host, store, display, distribute, sell access to, package, moderate, promote, preserve, and otherwise operate it. See User and Creator License.

Can I publish my work somewhere else?

Yes. The standard AngryPages operating license is non-exclusive, so you may publish elsewhere unless a separate written agreement imposes exclusivity or another limitation. Review the agreement governing the particular work. See User and Creator License.

Can I withdraw or delete published work?

You may request removal or account deletion, but deletion is not always immediate or complete. AngryPages may retain or continue using published, sold, unlocked, archived, or distributed material as reasonably needed to preserve purchases, reader access, archives, legal records, disputes, and platform integrity. Use Privacy Request and review User and Creator License.

Can AngryPages reject my submission or decline requested work?

Yes. AngryPages may accept, reject, limit, defer, or close a submission, project, proposal, creator application, service inquiry, or other request for any lawful reason or without stating a reason. Does AngryPages use drafts or creator content with AI?

AngryPages may process submitted content with AI tools and approved providers to operate, organize, moderate, secure, improve, and support the platform. Private, paid, restricted, unpublished, or creator content is not a free dataset for unauthorized third-party public-model training. Review AI Terms and Privacy before submitting sensitive or valuable material.
