NDB Calls and Big-Talk Ambition Pushed My Business Nerves to Edge

I pushed hard on NDB and other business routes while also spiraling through hatred of Sri Lanka, escape fantasies, and the pressure to turn connections, permits, and introductions into real momentum.

All that went wrong was I was told there's a risk banks can get hacked by cyber weapons. So, I went to see ████████ █████████ at Union Bank to warn him without an appointment. I organised a free POC to show him how it's done.

At first he pretended he was cool, lied and agreed. Then he forced me out because I wanted to see my friend and ex-director and board advisor Jith Warnakulasuriya, who I mistook for their CEO Indrajith. I didn't know which Indrajith my family referred to in Union Bank. I guessed it was "Indrajith" at Central Bank instead or something.

I'm just angry. I'll just put up with him or work directly with Deepal █████████████ and Ashok Pathirage uncle hopefully. They're running the bank. The IT guys just want money anyway. They're scared I'll end their racket stealing money from the bank's budget for IT.

██████████████████got thrown out of Union Bank. He's just resigned. He probably got a job at NDB because of ██████████████████████. ████ got a job because of █████████████████ who's friends with ████████████████████. ██████ got a job because of ████████████████████, who was appointed by Ashok Pathirage uncle who owns 8% of NDB.

I need to just be cool. I'm sure things will work out well. I'm doing pretty well. I'm upset by how bad things happened last year, but those mistakes are in the past. I have a good future to look forward to. I popped 30mg of Mirtazapine. Plus, I learned not to go to places without an appointment.

Who cares about why you make judgement calls? I'm better off trying to make money before duty--this is better than to get into trouble with people here. To be honest, even if I knew something bad would happen, I'll never tell anyone, I'll just save myself. I have only learned that. I simply don't care. If I knew NDB would get hacked, I'll just say what I need to, and avoid saying anything unnecessary.

I had a nightmare and woke up early. I remember Bhanuka Harishchandra, from Surge Global, doesn't like me. I asked him for help on LinkedIn with marketing. He didn't like me and refused, then he blocked me. Very weird.

Hannah Pickering told me to talk to him. He's told her I screamed at him on LinkedIn messenger, which isn't true. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████ These things happen. Not everyone gets along. I'll just pretend if I see him around, try act cool and move away. █████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Today, now it's 7 a.m., I can try call up NDB at around 10 a.m. to see if we can do a SIERRA project for them. I think it's a good fit. Since Ashok Pathirage uncle is deputy chairman, we may be able to do something. Without any help, it's impossible to do anything. Even when speaking to their CEO ████████████████████ and COO ████████████████████. You get the feeling they only care cause you mention Ashok uncle or Thilanga uncle's name, they don't care about cyber security.

That's the quality -- it's the way it works here, you can't reasonably expect them to do their job, or duties. Their CIO █████████████████ went to the same University of Keele as ██████, and so, they must be working together. ██████ doesn't hate me, but ██████████████████ does, and I bet as ██████████████████████ and ████████ were at Union Bank, they probably will hate me together. My best strategy is to directly deal with ██████. The second he delegates, the project is over.

Everything will work out okay. ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████I'm happy. It's just a matter of time till I succeed. Dialog can't afford to do 10 projects with me simultaneously. It's a lot of time and resources. Plus, we're charging.

I actually love it in Sri Lanka. I just don't like how things can be improved so dramatically and people are so slow to do so. Gotabaya is a good leader, but he's not fixing the justice system. He doesn't see that. I will never leave Sri Lanka or escape. This will always be my native land. I'll see to it this place develops into a first world country and beats Singapore.

I'll give NDB a call and see if we can go for a meeting appointment with COO ████████████████████. There was no pick up. He's probably not even in office. I'll just be cool. █████ is his secretary's name. They're cool. We'll try sort it out. I tend to imagine the worst. I should be cool.

9:15 a.m.

I like things neat and tidy. I adjusted and copied my writing to make it clear. Even my signature, it's just my name Lehan Edirisinghe-- there's no flow writing, all the letters are individually written carefully. I love the clarity. I was thinking that I'm learning quite a lot.

9:30 a.m.

I'll see what Chinthaka is doing. I want to tackle all the enterprise customers. I want to try set up a meeting with NDB's COO Deepal Akuretiyagama. We're trying to do pen testing for them. I called, Fowzi told me he's really full and busy -- better to wait.

1:45 p.m.

I ate a Sri Lankan food lunch packet my mum bought. I ate most of it. It wasn't so bad. But I started tearing and snotting up my nose. It's really too spicy for me. I don't eat Singapore style Chilli crab because it's too spicy, it makes my nose run uncontrollably. I feel a bit faint.

Ravi Thalgahawatte was a bit friendly over the phone. I think it'll work out for us at NDB. I think we can do it. I'm exhausted. F***, my nose is running. I hate spicy food. I feel faintish. I hate Sri Lankan food.

2:30 p.m.

Slight risk is we may go for a request for proposal or quote tender. Then, we may get into trouble. I don't know. I've registered deals. I have the Dialog deal. I've got the Sampath Bank deal too. So, I'm controlling the market.

4:30 p.m.

I worked on registering with NDB. I think I need to pay Rs 3,000 LKR to register with Sampath Bank. But I'm meeting Pasan Manukith on Tuesday to see if we can do pen testing for him. I've got a lot of work to do. Good news is we can register without a VAT number for NDB. We don't claim VAT anyway.

I think if required, Dialog can give us a letter saying whatever, bla bla bla give these guys a VAT number as we're paying so much and want to claim 8% VAT. That can be arranged. I've spoken with Ruwan Bakmedeniya at HNB. He said he's thinking about our company's pen testing services.

I'm going to continue watching The Apprentice soon. I'm going to listen to Killing Machine, the song by Tony Crown. I heard it in Fear The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 5. It was amazing. Anyone knows the reason I'm so cool is because I have a cool soundtrack like Red Right Hand by Nick Cave.

Trump has the money, money, money song. I dunno. It's a tough one. They're cool songs. I love music. I also have a good deal with Wasantha Alwis who will buy anything from me only if I have 3 references. So, Dialog, Sampath Bank and NDB = Central Bank.

Exhibit 4. Weaknesses

I honestly don't have the food intelligence (FQ). I watch all these cookery recipes, but it's just too difficult for me. It seems so complicated. I can draw though. I'm good in some areas. I think sports, I'm okay. But with food, I'm very weak. I need to work on my food intelligence. I believe I can make a great chef. I love brisket, I can do a BBQ joint and sell brisket and give it to my family and friends for free..

Also, I can't dance, at all. I can't fake dance, it's very sad and ugly. I can't sing. I can't drive really well. I can't drive a motorcycle. I can't play any musical instruments. I tried the guitar, as I love electric guitars, but I can't do it. I can't even play a piano. I can barely code in Python. Hacking is a lot easier. You just need to know how to use Nmap or Metasploit framework and that's it -- easy.

Hehe I was googling how much Aaron Franklin makes in his BBQ restaurant. I think he charges $20 per pound of brisket, and he does 10,662 pounds per week = $213,240 revenue per week. Close to $852,960 a month. $10,235,520 per year. He also does 1,823 pounds of ribs, 1,200 pounds of sausages, etc. I think I can do well, but I'll try make my future restaurant "Pirate Bay" a benchmark for all restaurants in Sri Lanka.

I'm good at business. I read a lot, I talked to a lot of people, I made very serious mistakes and I got very, very lucky. I haven't closed a single deal. But I'm having fun. Business isn't about money. It's about value and enjoying the road to riches. It's about having fun for me. Without it being fun, there's no point. Business is my religion.

I think although I'm bad at food. I can keep trying. Aaron Franklin was terrible at first. He kept trying. BBQ is my favourite food. There's no BBQ restaurants in Sri Lanka. There's a Smokies in Moratuwa -- who offer 8 hour brisket, there's a Bavarian, but those aren't the type I'm going for. I'm thinking 12 hour cook time foods.

I'm thinking Michelin star business. BBQ is an art and science, it's engineering. I love it. I think it's a great hobby for me. I think I'll succeed. I just checked, you can preorder Aaron Franklin's BBQ. Plus, it's $25 per lbs of brisket, $22/ pork ribs, $19/ sausage, $22/ pulled pork, $19/ Turkey. That's $266,550 per week in brisket, or $1,066,200 per month or $12,794,400 per year.

I'm watching The Apprentice.

Donald Trump's my prophet, business is my religion, money is my G-d, capitalism is my holy spirit or free market principles are my holy ghost, and the deal or handshake is the Son, and the only way to the Father is through the Son.

The Apprentice is the greatest TV show ever, it's the greatest public service to humanity --- President Trump deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his service to freedom, humanity and prosperity. I don't think that █████████████ President he kicked out deserved a Nobel prize (as much)

I'm watching The Apprentice. I love it. It's so interesting. It's my favourite show. I'm hungry. I wish I could have some cake. I wonder what's there for dinner. My lip is cut. I may have bit it or I didn't brush my teeth for 2 days or something (I have a dirty, foul mouth -- but only when I'm by myself). I need to shave my beard also. It's a very hot day.

I'm gonna ask for a McDonald's double cheeseburger from my most favourite restaurant in the world. I'm so happy to support my friends in the Parsi community (Pestonjee runs McDonald's Sri Lanka) because I sympathise with how they escaped ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
