Ron Went Quiet and the SIERRA Wait Started Feeling Personal

Ron’s silence and the waiting around SIERRA got under my skin, and the day became a mix of virus anxiety, comfort food, family worry, and the private fear that business delay was turning personal.

Ron is away on vacation and didn't respond to my WhatsApp message which he saw re: SIERRA. I'm tired. I'm sleepy. I emailed Ron, and got his out of office email, he must be busy on vacation.

The Grandmaster for Sri Lanka, Right Worshipful Brother Ferhad Jamshed Nilgiriya will go to Duke of Connaught Lodge meeting with me, in March, when and where I'll be balloted -- hopefully not blackballed. Ron replied, I'll try set up a meeting on Wednesday. I have terrible imagination, I assume the worst.

Romesh isn't a Freemason peculiarly, although he's a Knight of Malta. After blue lodge/ master mason, you get to be a mark mason and I think royal arch, and then, claiming to be Catholic, or even Jewish in the case of Sammy Davis Jr., you get to join Knights Templar or Knights of Malta, and various side orders, I think even Cross of St John or whatever.

Jorge is sending samples of GOLF-PAPA-WHISKEY to me: 6 bottles. I need a liquor import permit. Or I need to get somebody to cooperate with me.

I'll say something like Thilanga uncle doesn't want to directly do or and so, we need to work with one of 20 alcohol importers. He's friends with Harry Jayawardena, we might be able to work with DCSL.

It's a great business. I always wanted to sell booze. I was going to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare with Sajantha, split screen online. He's got the latest one. He's gone to spend the evening with Delitha. So, we can do something on Sunday.

I'll ask Thilanga uncle if we can do something. I'm sure, as Thilanga uncle's trusted by Mahinda Rajapaksa, he can issue a liquor import permit to me as finance minister for tourism development.

I shared 17 books on Zoroastrianism with my friend Right Worshipful Brother District Grand Master Ferhad Jamshed Nilgiriya, who is Parsi just like Sohli Captain, on WhatsApp. He's got to be pleased and impressed with me. I'm going to drink some chocolate milk and go to sleep.

I caught a greedy mosquito who drank too much blood from me, got fat and couldn't fly. I saw another fellow too. They're dangerous. I worry more about them than █████ coronavirus.

I remember buying an iPhone, it was a terrible toy, so, I returned it the next day and bought a Samsung S8+. I've been very happy to have done so. I feel utmost sympathy for any fool who is fooled into buying that terrible toy: the iPhone.

I like this. But I think it's like blasphemy to add sugar when cooking. I noticed that Chinese always add sugar -- supposedly to counter balance salt, it's unethical and just cheating. Even when making suckling pig or roast goose, they lather sugar water. In the US, with BBQ, when smoking, you don't add sugar, but it still gets sweet because of the Maillard reaction. This seems a lot more skillful as it's natural sweetness, than to cheat with adding sugar.
