10:45 a.m.
I'm going to get Maggi instant ramen noodles and drink my Earl Grey tea for breakfast. I'll get to work. Anura Gunadasa bappi has kept my dad's old Swatch Swiss automatic watch for a long time. He's gifted it to me. It's a beautiful black watch. But I'll probably keep it in storage because of the sentimental value.
12:45 p.m.
I'm watching Stephen Schwarzman on The Economic Club of Washington DC with David Rubenstein. I'm going to watch and learn from Steven's talks at Goldman Sachs and then Stanford. I'll watch 3 videos of David Rubenstein too. I'll call HNB in a few hour's time. I'll maybe try calling Ashok Pathirage uncle.
I tried calling Ashok uncle's secretary Rhonda. She's not in her seat because it's lunch. The receptionist recommended to call at like 2 p.m. I can use some help with NDB Bank because they're giving me a hard time and not registering my business as a vendor for no reason but jealousy (or so I claim).
2:00 p.m.
The internet seems to have stopped working. The wifi isn't working. I'll use 4g on my mobile phone. I spoke to all the people selling alcohol. I got a few leads. One plan is to use Harry Jayawardena and DCSL. The other plan is to try use Rockland who carry a competitor and also check other leads out.
2:45 p.m.
I called SLT. Apparently we've paid our wifi fees. They're also scratching their heads wondering why our internet's not working. They're getting their team to look into it. I called Aitken Spence. They've given over 5 apps to TechCERT. I see 5 apps x Rs 30mn LKR = Rs 150mn bucks per year. I'll try call John Keells Holdings as well.
3:00 p.m.
I think my new favourite person Sohli Captain has like 20% of JKH. I'm calling them now. So, tomorrow, I'll get back to Aitken Spence. I'll work on JKH. I just made 5 - 6 calls to HNB. The people I needed to speak to were busy. Jagath Rohana said he'd give my number to Prasad Tennakoon who's the best IT security person to talk to. I'll work on JKH.
4:15 p.m.
I called Rajitha Dissanayake, the CIO of Amana Bank. Oops, I didn't know they were a local bank. I guessed they were foreign owned, and so, couldn't buy my products directly. I'll have to register as a supplier. I've tried to call HNB, they're working on it. I've got a meeting with Mr Wijitha at Sampath Bank coming up. I need to confirm the time.
I need Thilanga uncle to talk to Ruchira Yasaratne asking to do the scoping questionnaire. I think we can do the pen testing for Dialog Axiata and then Axiata. It's a make or break project. I didn't want to call and bother them, but tomorrow, I'll call Chaminda Wickramasinghe and see what's going on.
7:30 p.m.
Ruchira Yasaratne has told Srinath Wijayakumara that he's feeling very positive about our Dialog project. I'm going to go for a jog around Independence Square with my mum. I need to get my exercise.
I think I messed up my dad's old Swatch Swiss automatic. I think the date is one day ahead. I stopped it somehow. I'll start it tomorrow 7 p.m. I think you can't turn back time on this particular watch model. It's got problems too. I can show it to Swatch one day to fix.
9:00 p.m.
I'm going to call it a night. I had nice spaghetti pasta with meatball like sausages. I think my mum's got to pay Rs 85,000 to SLT for our Wi-Fi.
9:15 p.m.
I had another serving. I ate all the pasta. I'm now sleepy. I was thinking Freddie Mercury looks a lot like and reminds me of my dad -- especially, with the moustache and that white wife beater sleeveless under shirt banyan. I'm sleepy.
I'm reading Chris Voss's Never Split the Difference. I'll quickly first finish reading the one book about Zoroastrianism I really liked.█████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████
10:15 p.m.
I will go to sleep soon. I read about Harvey Weinstein's conviction. It's really sad how he acted.
