Ventilator Debate + Candidate Screens: Policy Went Live

I spent the day arguing policy in my head, screening candidates, and trying to think practically about ventilators, leadership, and crisis response while the whole environment kept feeling unstable.

Switching the subject to my mitigating circumstances and reason for asking instead of Google, I went to two business schools and enthusiastically study computers. I study computer and information systems/ technology security. My clients are typically enterprise customers such as banks, ISPs, government offices, etc. I noticed most cyber security companies complicate things and we try to make it all easy to understand by explaining in simple language. So, I wanted to learn this stuff too! When I quickly Googled or checked Wikipedia which isn't the best source, I didn't really understand ventilators or why Elon is building them, so, I wanted to ask. We're a very friendly IT community, we share information and teach a lot. I saw a nice video explaining tough computer concepts at five different levels to give you a picture.

My suggestion is you "medical people" focus on medical stuff and us business people and computing people will try figure out ways to help augment research to cure this Covid19 coronavirus. I really support and am rooting for you Lisa as a nurse -- thanks for risking your life at this scary time for us all, never has the world owed so much to so few since the world wars.

I think I might be able to help for instance, by help using quantum computing to process larger data or perform advanced computational modeling as research. Maybe even to perform complicated electronic surveillance backed social contact tracing/ improve traceability methodologies. Or to help protect hospitals electronically so bad hackers can't do anything evil while everyone is panicking and weak. Maybe even by helping manage the crisis response strategy to make it easier for frontline medical professionals. I could help make ventilators, but I worry it's too hard for us as I don't know how to. We're all in this together, now more than ever.

I don't know what I did in the morning. I spoke to two candidates Lakmith ████ and Shimza ██████. Lakmith doesn't know any customers and is 23. Shimza knows people in HNB, NDB and Commercial Bank.

So, I directed him, he's 57 or something. I just checked my call recordings, he's 59. I wish that girl who blocked me was the COO. She's so much smarter than me. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████

Whatever. I'm not dying. I just think I am. I'm 45kg or something. I should be okay. █████████████████████████████████████████████ Savannah ████████████████████████. I follow her on Instagram, she's not that hot in real life. I had a chat with our driver Chandima, his mum is in Saudi Arabia as a maid.

My mum made me food for lunch. For breakfast, I just had chocolate biscuit pudding by Revello or something. It was a bit better than Kandos. I'm so sleepy. My nose is congested. I hate the cold.

I'm feeling terrible. I hate this cold. I hope coronavirus doesn't kill me. Those Israeli people are █████, Defence Minister says that everyone will be infected. I don't think I'll survive if I get infected. I hope Dr Trevor Friedman survives, even as an old man, I need to complete my treatment.

I had a nice conversation with Sameera██████████████████ for close to 2 hours. He can be CMO. He knows Aitken Spence, John Keells Holdings, NTB (I think), Commercial Bank, NDB, HNB, Virtuasa, etc.

9:00 p.m.

I spoke with Rasika █████████ for 1 hour. I had a good dinner. My mum makes food because of Covid19 coronavirus. Which is a silver lining. Rasika █████████ can help with Commercial Bank, DFCC, NDB, LB Finance, McLarens Group, etc.
