Ranmini Gunawardena is an educator with more than 33 years of experience in teaching and higher education. She began as an English teacher in secondary schools before serving as a lecturer at state universities in Sri Lanka. She holds a Master’s degree in English Studies from the University of Colombo and a Master of Education from the Open University of Sri Lanka. A lifelong student of wisdom traditions and the teachings of Gautama Buddha, Ranmini wrote Buddhism Simplified to make Buddhism clear, accessible and meaningful for modern readers seeking greater calm, insight and peace.
